The 5 sisters were named by their mother when fist born. They found they were named after names from other mer-clans due to their odd range of colours, usually mermaids being born of the respective colour of their clan.
In the event that no-one reforms them paint generally reforms the girls and if paint too is deceased then generally it requires outside help or they're gone for good.

Levira greedily snatched up wisp and when the others tried to save her all shared the same fate in padding Levira's scales. with no way to reform themselves and no-one else willing to help the girls made a permanent addition to her tail. (not perma)

Ivy "Leaf-fin" Gladetail
Colouration: Green fins, green tail, green hair, green eyes.
Ivy was born with the classic colouration of a leaf-fin mermaid, a breed of mergirl commonly found in the lakes of the Infinate forest. She loves lights, and colours and will often chase something colourful to see what it is.
Mirra "Wave-breaker" Gladetail
Colouration: Light blue tail, hair, eyes, lips, fins, chest-scales and some skin on the face, abnormally pale skin.
Mirra is a Wave-breaker mermaid, meaning she is happy in any type of water, though preferable cool fresh water and can swim the fastest of any breed of Ardithian mermaid. Also she has the power of water & ice magic, though she doesn't use it.
Mirra is the eldest of the girls though my no means responsible. she often likes to chase ships and flirt with any girls onboard. before sticking them into her pussy or mouth and digesting them. She is the most predatory of the 6 when hungry, but otherwise also the nicest and kindest.
Wisp "Mirage-scale" Gladetail
Colouration: Silver tail, fins, eyes, white hair.
Wisp is from a more tropical breed of mermaid, the mirage-scale, as it can be recognised not only from her colouration, but also her more tanned skin.
Wisp, like all Mirage-scale, is naturally talented with illusion magic and often uses it to protect her sisters and sometimes for show too.
She is also skilled in with air magic and able to cast bolts and accelerate things to high speed using air, making anything not firmly nailed down into a potential projectile.
She sees herself as the motherly one of the group and is ready to fight anyone to save the others.
Dart "Painter" Gladetail
Colouration: Purple tail, hair, eyes.
One thing that separates Dart from her sisters is the lack of the large fin on her back, something painter mermaid lack.
Dart, like nearly all painters, loves to make art, she regularly collects bits of colourful rock and coral to make patterns and pictures. Also like other Painter mermaids she lacks any form of magic and also hates wearing bras, unlike her sisters.
If she sees a ship passing or a merchant on land. will often ask for any art supplies she can use on land, or even better if waterproof. She has a magical bottomless chest she keeps tucked inside her slit to keep all her non-waterproof items safe.
The easiest way to annoy dart is to mock her work. the easiest way to anger her is to actually damage or destroy it. This si likely to lead to a violent digestive ride.
Pyra "Lava-flow" Glade tail
Colouration: Red tail and fins with a gold pattern, red eyes, yellow orange and black hair.
Pyra, like all of her kind absolutely loves heat, fire and anything of the sort. her body is extremely heat resistant up to the point her kind actually can swim, and many live, in geyser fields and even hot lava and magma flows. Her kind is very skilled in fire and heat magic, able to cast fire and summon lava on the surface and even heat up water rapidly, allowing her to boil aquatic threats alive.
She is stubborn and hot headed and believes she is the best of the best there ever was, is and will be. Despite this she secretly relies a lot on her sisters for both physical and emotional support.
