Gooey_Chuchus

Chuchus. The gooey slime monsters first appearing in Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, but becoming more common with Wind Waker. They come in many colors, from red, to blue, to even a blackish purple. Each color has its own abilities... somewhat. Only two different abilities have been noted; Blue and Yellow Chuchus can electrify themselves, and Purple Chuchus are completely immune to all attacks... But are susceptible to light, which makes them solidify into a stone-like substance. (As such, Purple Chuchus have only been found in the dark.)
No matter the color, however, Chuchus have one main attack; Jumping at prey in an attempt to weaken them, or even engulf them in their goop. It's actually a very effective tactic, though sadly, easily dodged. However, not everyone has avoided Chuchus... after all, they like to group up...
Chuchus make strange squeaking noises and the slap of their goop on ground is a rather common sound to hear.
If they get into trouble, Chuchus have a very simple defense system; they retreat their bodies into their "foot" and approach slowly. If one is not careful, one may be engulfed by a retreated Chuchu when it "stands up" right below them!
If a Chuchu manages to get its slime around you, kiss the next few hours goodbye. They like to keep their prizes for a while before digesting them, so you'll get to see the outside world through a filter of their color until then... unless they scrunch themselves up; then you'll pretty much only see goop.
No chuchu is smart enough to speak verbally, but those who have had a few meals and absorbed knowledge from them (yes, they absorb knowledge, too) can sometimes converse with others in thought... as long as some of them is touching the person. Whether they're inside the chuchu or just have some of that chuchu's chu jelly on them, they SHOULD be able to communicate. Different chuchu's send telekinetic messages in different ways, but the most common is direct; however, only chus that have eaten a lot of people can do that. Speaking of people: anyone who is not slimy will be referred to as a "solidframe"
If you can manage to defeat a Chuchu (and let's face it, if they were alone, it's pretty much a certainty) Then you MIGHT get Chu Jelly from them. Chu Jelly is potent in recovery power and can be made into potions with the right skills. However, only Red, Green, and Blue Chu Jelly is known to exist, and blue Chu Jelly only comes from Blue Chuchus, which are rare and one of the electrified kinds, so...
A potion made of Green Chu Jelly can be used by spellcasters for the power to cast more; A Red Chu Jelly Potion can give strength and speed up the healing of wounds; and a potion of Blue Chu Jelly, if you can manage to collect enough, Will be able to do both.

No, the Chuchus will not inflate you and, despite the tasty-sounding name, the UNREFINED CHU JELLY IS DANGEROUS IF CONSUMED! These CHUCHUS CAN DIGEST YOU FROM THE INSIDE OUT and THEIR JELLY HAS TO BE NEUTRALIZED or eating it is AKIN TO DRINKING HYDROFLUORIC ACID! However, the globs of Jelly have a thin membrane that makes them safe to touch... just don't squeeze too hard.

Notable Chus:
Splotch- A Dark Chuchu who gained enough intelligence from its prey to surpass the others of his kind. (Arguably, it didn't take much...) Whereas other Dark Chuchus are stupid enough to jump at someone through a shaft of light, Splotch tends to avoid light at all costs... while still SEEMING less intelligent on the surface; he's much more sinister than his brethren, keeping bone and clothing trophies where others just keep clothing...
Gold- A Yellow Chuchu who's actually rather kind... just don't get too close too soon, or the electricity goes on. When a jelly connection is made, either by swallowing someone or just getting some on them, Gold can communicate by sending rebuses into people's minds.
VerGVerS- Four chuchus of different colors, fused into one being: a giant rainbow chuchu with swirling colors and the consciousnesses of all four... or rather, mostly three of the four; Verdant (green) is shy and reserved, and mostly lets the others do what they want. Sky (blue) kinda stays out of conflict, too, though; Most of the time, the two consciousnesses really controlling the body are Golrod and Vermill (yellow and red, respectively) who do NOT get along. Golrod is greedy, and Vermill prone to angry outbursts. Not a good combo. There's also a version of this mixed Chu without Verdant nor Sky's consciousnesses; they decided to split away from the body as Vermill and Golrod fought amongst themselves, leaving the rainbow body with just a bit less green and blue, though it's not that noticable.

Never/Dislike Chu Jelly burns if you try and consume it without first refining it. It's like breaking open a water balloon of corrosive acid. It's only safe to touch since only saliva breaks the surface tension in that way without other chemicals present. If you can handle it, though, they can taste fruity... except for dark chuchus. THEY taste like stale black licorice.

Never/Dislike they have no teeth, but SOME chuchus like to burn their prey by breaking their surface tension purposefully, which they CAN do on cue at any time. It's a fast death, though, and most chuchus like to keep their prey for a long while, as previously mentioned. too goopy to be torn apart... if anything tries, the chuchu can just reform.

Never/Dislike Some chuchus like to keep their prey MUCH longer than others.... but none of them can stop digestion completely. They'll NEVER get smart enough for that, mostly because they all like absorbing their prey.

Never/Dislike Situation dictates my post length. If I have a lot to say, I will. If I don't, I won't. In any case, if you want me to edit my post length, just tell me, PLEASE. I want us both to be happy with my post lengths, I couldn't live with my conscience if I learn that you let me just blissfully think I was ok with my short posts while you were upset. PLEASE TELL ME! I WON'T BE OFFENDED!
I usually do a long three or four lines when trying.

Never/Dislike Chuchus are goopy, and they stretch. They can't engulf a behemoth or something like that completely, (not without having been around a REALLY long time first... or by several fusing together.) but are just fine eating things human-sized or a bit bigger on their own.

Never/Dislike Will never do it, will never ask for it. If you want it, look somewhere else.
However, this only applies for what I call "true" Permavore; that is, the character literally being deleted or remade simply because they were digested. For "soft" perma, where the prey is only permanently digested in-scene, check "Fatality" above.

Also, please note that I'm not against characters being nude in Rps; this is strictly a profile picture thing.

Never/Dislike If you only write out in-character posts saying "I see you over there" or such, please go away. Treat the Rp like a story being told by two people, not a chatroom conversation. 1st person is fine, 3rd person is fine. Even 2nd person can be ok if done right, but combining first person and second person is just stupid. It makes you sound like an idiot in my opinion, sorry to say.
