The world of Remnant...a place filled with terrifying creatures called Grim, who's sole purpose seems to be the destruction of mankind. Luckily, mankind doesn't go down without a fight. And the soldiers in their war against the Grim are known as Hunters, and Huntresses. Gray is one such Huntress, at least a Huntress in training. However,if you ask her where she is learning, she will respond that she learns on the job. You see, Gray isn't like normal huntresses...
Born and abandoned in a city being evacuated, she grew up in a place overrun with Grim, and spent much of her early years not knowing if there WERE any other humans out there. She had to master her Aura, the skill of using your soul as a sheild, at a very very early age. This also meant she had to learn her Semblance, the special ability unique to each person, at an early age as well, just so she could survive the hordes of grim, and gather food and water.
One day, she noticed a group had entered what she considered her 'territory', and she was about to confront them until she realized...they were Humans! this shocked her, mostly because she was still skeptical as to weather or not humans other than her still exsisted! She followed them in secret, until they went into an underground are, and dug into an old subway line that she had never known was there. Sneaking past the group, she began exploring this new area, and soon enough she found herself in the kingdom of Vale. It was there that she learned about the Hunters and Huntresses, as well as their weapons....however, instead of applying to an acadamy as most her age do, she opted to be a loner, slightly because she still had no idea how to interact with humans...
Eventually, she crafted her weapon, the New Moon Sting, and began her life as a self taught self trained huntress, and this is where we meet her now. Still shy and awkward around others, she prefers to be alone, however...if you manage to get through to her, she will hold you close like no other, and fight to the death to keep you safe.
Her Semblance is Fire. She can conjure and control it at will. She enjoys this power, partially because it helps save money when she has to buy Dust. It mans she doesn't have to buy the Fire element.
