Harpe

Another creature of That Playah.

Quenched in the blood of Uranus when Kronos first cut him down, Harpe was used constantly for slaughter both righteous and cruel over the following centuries. Eventually the concentrated ill intent coalesced into a conscious mind, one that quickly grew weary of killing, wishing that it could just fly away.

And one day, with the aid of someone who he has yet to meet, his wish came true.... almost. For having been set free he found that justice called too strongly to him, and thus he has condemned himself to continue the slaughter of the wicked.

BIO

Personality

Harpe doesn't talk a lot. Not because he's anti-social, but because he doesn't see the need to waste words. Despite his background and self-imposed mission, he's actually surprisingly normal, if a bit quick to resort to stabbing and perhaps a little on the voracious side.

Appearance

Harpe is a tall, well-toned harpy, standing nearly 6'8" at the head. His feathers shine a dark bronze akin to the material of his previous form and, should one be unfortunate enough to provike him, they would find that the edges are made of razor-sharp metal. His eyes glow the same dull gold as sodium lights.

However, Harpe does not always appear as a man, sometimes preferring to revert to his original form of a somewhat-battered but still very servicable sickle-sword. He is quite capable of speech while in this form through limited-range telepathy. Movement is rather more of an issue, however.

Abilities

Harpe is, by all acounts, immortal, though certainly not invulnerable. He can be hurt or slowed, but all wounds heal in short order and generally serve only to spur him on unless particularly serious. He is extremely skilled with bladed and edged weaponry and could likely pose a challenge to all but the finest warriors when it comes to swordplay - and if disarmed, his feathers and talons are more than enough weapon in and of themselves. That said, he relies more on speed and skill than raw strength. Particularly tanky foes might simply outlast him.

Vore

Harpe is quite capable of eating other beings and is more than willing to do so whether the intended target is or not. It tends to be a one-way trip. While it is possible that he himself could be eaten... swallowing someone who can turn into a sword at will is likely unwise for all but the most powerful of predators.
