The fluffhead invasion marches on! ... sort of.
See... Hazy isn't your average fluffhead. She's not even exactly a fairy! Hazy is, in fact, the second daughter of the human miko
Chitose Izumo and her beloved
Daiyousei. This makes her, in fact, a half-fairy or hanyousei. What exactly does this mean for her? Well, she has -part- of the yousei immortality. Part of her is, as with ordinary yousei, an embodiment of nature. However, as a hanyousei she also has gained an existence independent of that embodiment, and it's an existence that
can be lost. So while she can't grow old and perish, and after a certain point will become ageless, kill her and she'll go away. (And then you'll have a -very- angry shrine maiden after you.)
That... doesn't really stop her from very much being a fluffhead though! She's a silly girl indeed, playful and very well-liked among the yousei of the forest and mountain. She even took on a "yousei name", Hazy Sonata; she has a name her parents give her, Kyoumin (clear autumn sky), but if anyone but them tries to use it, she tends to get -very- pouty. She's far often to be found out playing with the yousei than learning about the shrine, assuming Sara will take care of things.
As mentioned, her yousei half means that she, too, is the embodiment of a natural phenomenon. Hazy's is the buzzing of cicadas and chirping of crickets in the summer. As might be expected, this means that she is most active in the height of summer, especially in the "dog days" of August, and rather lethargic and mopey in the winter. This doesn't give her much in the way of abilities outside of spellcards, except for the ability to create a buzz or chirping noise with her wings. However, it's a lovely sound all on its own~
Other than that? As mentioned, she's a very playful person. She's ended up adopting a number of her mother's Osaka-ben traits, actually. She's very open and friendly, while perhaps a bit loud at times, and very unabashed at most things. She also very much loves to play with the yousei; the vast majority of her friends are among the ranks of the fairies, and she's just as likely to play pranks on someone (though never anything dangerous, mind!) as Sara, Cirno, or even her best friends, Sunny, Luna, and Star.
And that's... about all there is to her. Silly half-fluffhead~
