A clone and direct incarnation of the Swamp Goddess brought forth from her body sometime nearing the end of the Era of Magic. Heket's main purpose and reason for existence was to assure that the followers of the Swamp Goddess would continue to have a deity to worship if the declining faith in the gods resulted in the feared extinction of obscure deities. This 'declining faith' was in fact, a natural occurrence that came about after the humans broke away from the guidance of god and began using machines and technology to forge their own path of destiny. As a result of this sudden independence in man, many gods began to lose their powers, some even fell into obscurity and ceased to exist due to their declining power. The Swamp Goddess foresaw this future for herself, and bore herself a daughter to carry on her legacy if she were to disappear. Heket herself...doesn't seem too concerned about the overall plan of her mother and seems far more interested in the world around her and the things it has to offer. Curious and eager to learn, Heket is quick to explore her environment and soak in as much about it as she can. Despite her disregarding her mother's order to train and become an effective demi god, Heket is actually a docile and obedient Axolotl and normally does whatever she's told. However, the minute it gets boring to her is when she'll wander off to sate her interests in something more colorful or endearing, a typical trait of most children actually. Heket is fairly voracious, her mother's frog like attributes carrying over to her and granting her an appetite to match. This being said, Heket loves sweet or sour things and usually hates things that are spicy or bitter.
As far as abilities go, Heket boasts a minor affinity in Hydro Mana which means she can cast basic water magic with little trouble. Complex or powerful attacks are often out of the question due to the sheer amount of Mana they consume. Other offensive abilities often manifest in a mouth laser composed of pure mana, this is an ability inherited from Heket's mother. While not as powerful or destructive as her mother's attack, Heket's "Axolotl Comet" is still a force to watch out for. The attack itself however, has a kickback that often pushes Heket back several feet upon release and may even cause her Mana pool to 'overcharge' resulting the young axolotl becoming 'drained' and 'sluggish' if the blast output is overpowered. Heket is also able to bring this Mana out in close combat, but only in her thick and resilient tail as an energized weapon. Heket's gills often glow depending on how much Mana she puts into her Mana-based energy attacks.
On the other hand, Heket is a natural born swimmer and her neotanic gills allow her to remain submerged for quite a while. He quickness and agility when submerged is often unmatched unless faced with an equally amphibious or aquatic opponent and even skilled swimmers from the land have a hard time keeping up with her. Biologically, Heket has the makings to become a well rounded demi-god, if she unlocks her true potential. As of now, her natural abilities lie in that of a persistent regeneration that allows her to heal much quicker than normal, especially if she is in the water. The properties from the water reacts with her own mana pools and speeds up the regeneration process. Normal regeneration takes about several hours to fully complete, so it's often advised that Heket be somewhere safe and secluded until she can fully recover. If she drinks or is splashed with water, the healing speeds up allowing her to recover faster.
