It's not always easy to break into the fitness scene, but some people just have the talent, the toughness, and the potential for it, the utter willingness to devote a very significant portion of their lives to the perfection of their own bodies. Holly just happened to be one of those sorts, and had devoted herself thoroughly to her own fitness. Resigning herself to neither be a couch potato nor starve her body into painful submission, she decided to built the best body she could, doing punishing exercise not out of hatred, but out of respect for the pure potential that lay within her body. Her efforts- her physical ones, anyway, were awarded with strength, endurance, and something she felt she could be incredibly proud of, and show off to millions.

Unfortunately, the road to fame is incredibly treacherous, and no less so than the people along the way. Not only did she have to deal with the microscope-level scrutiny of her new peers, but also all of the obstacles that kept her from getting the exposure that she wanted. She was no juicer, but people just wanted to squeeze every single concession they could out of the up-and-coming amazon, questioning every aspect of her appeal while squirreling away her shoots in the deepest, most obscure parts of magazines. Her career was quickly turning into a "blink and you'll miss it" lack of a phenomenon, and the demands piling on her were going from the absurd to the obscene. Having been bent to the utter limit of her dignity, she decided to go independent in what was, perhaps, the best and most spectacular escape from bad employment she would ever perform. After all, when you snap so hard, it's not difficult to see what you're doing as part of everyone's benefit. This final break of frustration, combined with the inhuman conditioning she had put herself through, unlocked some ancient predatory instinct in the amazon, and she had a lot of potential targets to test herself on. her rather sleazy manager was the first to become fodder for the power of her throat and belly. He was the only one willing to work with her originally, sure, but she had a better purpose for him at that moment. While he was naturally reluctant to fill his extremely temporary position, she forced him in with ease. A couple of choice rivals served as more rigorous tests but then she was done. She had washed her hands of that particular association for good.

Which of course, left her in a bit of a lurch. She was likely blacklisted by now, and her regular athletic prospects may have been shot a bit by her dramatic exit. However, it seemed that she would be able to take up her dream once more. While she may have made some enemies, her little antics had also made her a good share of friends in the more underground, indie scene beyond the big contests and pageants. With someone like her free from the tyranny of the regular fitness industry, Holly has managed to score a place in underground publications as a regular model, interviewee, and occasional muscle to intimidate the more moneyed side of the scene. Since then she has rather mellowed, but she does still demand a certain bit of respect.
