The demon ended up being the won that one the fight. During the fight she realized how handsome the demon was and how well he could handle a blade. As Serenity laid on the ground with the demon's sword at her throat. Him ready for the kill but something was wrong. For some reason he couldn't seem to bring himself to kill this her. Looking into his eyes she figured it out. He had fallen in love with her during the fight. The demon lifted his sword off of Serenity's throat and he told her he had fallen in love with her. When Serenity rose to her feet she realized she had fallen in love with him during the fight as well. Serenity knew she could not go to hell where Blake was and she knew he could not go to heaven where she was. The two soon left both places to be together on earth. There love for each other meant more than anything else.
