Hoss is a rootless, drifting left-over from the happy 80s.
Though the middle-aged horse should technically be past his prime, he either hasn't noticed, or his active lifestyle hasn't given his body a chance to notice. A college drop-out, he joined the army and served for two tours before leaving and since has worked in all manners of physical labour professions, from custodian to metal worker, seasonal farm hand and nightclub security.
His personal magnetism and impressive physique and... natural assets have lead him into other careers as well... even though less frequently now that he's getting older, he have in the past been popular as a male exotic dancer in certain establishments, worked as a personal trainer in a gym after becoming friends with the owner
