About Ilyana
Ilyana is a mage with a focus on lightning magic, journeying alongside a band of wandering merchants. Despite her slender build, she possesses a voracious appetite, and her unending hunger is her most constant companion.
Hailing from a village in Tellius, Ilyana chose to leave her home behind. At first, she found it challenging to survive without the backing of friends and family, until one fateful day when she collapsed by the roadside and was rescued by a merchant caravan. Since that moment, she has traveled with them throughout Tellius, though she frequently suffers from seasickness during their boat trips.
Ilyana met Ike and the Greil mercenaries during the Mad King's War amidst a storm. After being compelled to fight in a battle, she decided to join the Greil mercenaries. There, she interacted with various individuals, often speaking up only to request food or because her hunger was noticeable. Three years after the Mad King's War, Ilyana found herself caught up in a larger conflict, once again using her lightning magic to support her new allies, the Dawn Brigade.
Ilyana's personality is quiet and shy; she rarely takes the initiative to start a conversation unless she's urgently hungry, which happens more often than one might think since she's never quite satisfied. She's not the type of character to drive the plot forward, and her constant hunger tends to limit her personality. However, she has provided some humorous moments and has even been known to attempt to eat a teammate (Support of Ilyana and Mia).
Ilyana in RP
lyana is clearly a character reminiscent of a Pred type, primarily defined by her insatiable appetite. Her main trait is that she can consume anything and never feels full. Although she isn't impulsive, her constant weakness prevents her from taking on the role of a hunter, making her well-suited for scenarios that involve a willing prey dynamic.
Despite being on the verge of fainting most of the time, her ravenous hunger makes her somewhat opportunistic when food is within reach. However, her calm and kind nature means she rarely resorts to such behavior, maintaining a gentle demeanor even in desperate situations.
Ilyana lives in a medieval world where she is a wandering mage, often staying wherever she can find something to eat. Modern settings are not part of her story. In her realm, there are humans, demi-humans capable of transforming into beasts, and mythical creatures like dragons and wyverns.
My roleplays focus on fiction and fantasy, not reality or real-life references, which are far from the intended interpretation and may be uncomfortable as they do not reflect who I am.
Skills
Ilyana is a mage who specializes in thunder anima magic, although she can also wield other elements to a lesser extent. Her thunder magic is particularly effective against wyverns and dragons, making her a valuable asset in battles against these creatures or weaker foes.
In addition to her magical abilities, Ilyana can utilize magical staffs for various effects, ranging from healing to more strategic applications. She also has the option to use daggers for close combat situations when necessary. While she may not possess great physical strength or defense, Ilyana excels in magical prowess and resistance. Her speed is average, but it is sufficient to make her a useful participant in combat scenarios.
