About Mountain Dragons

Mountain dragons are a race of demi species that exist ... in the mountains. Yes, clever I know. Rather than living atop the mountains, however, they make their homes by tunneling underneath them, carving out intricate cave networks. Sized up from normal humans by nearly double in height, they have adapted their wing appendages to instead become larger grasping back-arms. These arms increase the already immense strength of the Dragon, allowing them to throw boulders or drag off people or large animals.

Adorning the body of the Dragon are a number of bioluminescent parts, namely talons, spikes, and horns. These horns have the ability to change color, depending on chemical reactions within the dragon to display their temperament. Useful in dark cave networks to convey emotion or to communicate between parties.There are an array of colors, but each 'mood' color is consistent amongst their entire race.

The final distinct ability is their digestive systems. Due to the scarcity of food in the mountains and caves, Mountain Dragons have evolved stronger digestive tracks, able to break down contents that normally would be left, such as bone or minerals. In case of times of drought, or excess food, Mountain Dragons can halt their digestive systems in order to hold food for later, to move along.

About Ikara

Ikara herself grew up in the underground cities of her homeland, taking up temporary work with the official Food Gathering resources. Growing older, she eventually began to trade with overworlders, becoming interested in the world itself. When she gained more autonomy, Ikara set out into the world to find new people and resources, taking on work where she could. Unfortunately, her Dragon side is strong, resulting in a few...accidents when her hunger gets the better of her sometimes.

Personality wise, she can be rough and tumble, owing to her living accomodations growing up. She can be territorial, even fighting others over people she has 'claimed' as friends, if she feels they are trying to be taken away. She can be a bit bitey, though will not break skin, and does engage in roughhousing when the mood strikes her. Overall, A good friend, a worse enemy, and your nightmare should she be hungry.

Cure? Yeah I know here. I found her on 9/05/2022, and just haaad to have a sample. She re-emerged from her sabbatical to my intestines on 09/15/2022
