Oh, you wanted to know how she got there? Well, to be honest, Ilaja is the child of two extremely wealthy entrepreneurs. When
Ilaja was barely two years old, her parents decided to take a trip on their personal aircraft- one that her father loved to
just fly all over the world for fun. However, in the middle of the jungle that would become Ilaja's home, the engine stalled.
Her father did his best to keep the plane from going down hard, but as they hit the ground, a branch went through the
windshield and went through her father's chest. It wasn't long before her mother died from bleeding out of her wounds.
Ilaja was the only one to survive. A crying, sobbing child, strapped thoroughly into a dead plane in the middle of nowhere.
It was now that a panther crawled in through a large hole in the hull. A child barely able to say "mama" was forced to watch
as a panther, and her two kittens ate the mangled bodies of her parents. However, when the panther got closer to Ilaja, the
female couldn't help but feel the motherly instinct of wanting to help the infant.
After being unceremoniously ripped from her harness, the mother panther began to raise Ilaja alongside her kits- a male and a
female. Ilaja learned the laws of the world- it was either eat or be eaten, trust only those closest to you, and only the
strongest survive. She has become very rough, nearly constantly angry and not understanding the modern concepts of the world.
When she was 19, and she was now spending most of her time with the kits of her "sister", explorers came through the jungle.
After the deaths of three of them, they're still trying to teach Ilaja modern speech and society, but so far not much has worked
out for them- especially since one of them shot her "brother".
