Irene is a 6★ Swordmaster Guard from the mobile gacha game Arknights. Formerly an Iberian Inquisitor, she had joined Rhodes Island as an operator with an agreement as an Inquisition Messenger be tween the Iberian Inquisition and Rhodes, in order to prepare to face the terrors of the sea.

Having spent much time as an Iberian Inquisitor, as well as being the student of High Inquisitor Dario, she is elegantly trained with her rapier swordmanship, her handcannon, scriptures, and laws. Naturally as one who formerly enforced and studied the law, Irene tends to be very by the books and strict with any rules that are in place, regardless of whether it is her duty to bother enforcing them or not. Despite her serious demeanor, within she has a softer side and will hardly reject the friendship of others, seeking to help those who need her.

Irene possesses her two main weapons, an elegant rapier and her Iberian handcannon. The handcannon seems to be massively different from how typically firearms are mechanically, showing the feats of old Iberian technology. The handcannon has great power, much more so than typical firearms, but requires much more strength and willpower to fire. She also carries her lantern along with her wherever she goes to light the way for herself and others.

To pass the time, Irene can be found going through paperwork, listening or even singing to Iberian music, and reading books at a library, activities that let her relive her time as High Inquisitor Dario's student many years ago. The feeling of being a student again seems to bring her peace and nostalgia.

In Roleplay

Irene typically plays the role of prey, though she may reject it at first, one could coerce her into letting them have her. Otherwise, she won't let you have a piece of her, and won't be going down with a fight! She also may have a little bit of prejudice or be caught off guard by your presence if you're from the sea, as her job tends to be fighting off the Sea Terrors of her home world. Don't take it too personal, it's definitely not something worth eating her for!

Events

8/8/23 ~ Irene encountered a big scary bee boy named Riota. The tsundere bird was paralyzed by the stinger's venom and shoved inside the bee's abdomen, and was thankfully let out at a nearby hot spring. However, the bee couldn't resist and slurped her up for a second, more prolonged stay! She was let out the next day, thankfully.
