We at BioSynth Corp pride ourselves on our ability to rehabilitate those with crippling injuries, but without doubt we find no greater joy in helping injured soldiers gain their lives back.

One of our greatest successes to date is Corporal Jderoiu, whom was part of the Romanian detachment of the U.N.'s Replicant suppression efforts in Australia. A land mine cost left her as a quadrapede, but thanks to our determined efforts, Ioana has usage of all four limbs thanks to our new Dynamic Tactile Fluidic System. The DTFS is a cybernetic system attaching the to terminus stumps of her missing limbs and, to put it in layman's terms, allows Ioana to absorb and shape a body of water into a solid and semi-solid masses to replace her missing limbs.

In fact, many would argue that Cprl. Jderoiu is better now that with her biological limbs. Her new limbs can not break or strain their muscles, they do not tire or wear down over time, nor do they feel pain or stress. Freezing is not an issue unless the weather is severely extreme, as constant fluidic motion prevents freezing. Similarly, evaporation is only a real issue in areas of extreme heat, and her cybernetic stumps are grounded against accidental electrical shocks. Additionally, the limbs are dynamic in structure and do not have to resemble human limbs at all. Ioana is, reportedly, always losing her keys and can shape her hand to fit her apartment's door lock! Nor is she limited to a mere five fingers on each hand, if she even chooses to have hands at all! Indeed, practically the only drawback to the DTFS is the need to invest in sleeveless dresses... but as Ioana looks quite fetching in them, if I do say so myself, I would hardly call that a 'drawback'.

Naturally, there are a few legal rammifications.

As per the U.N. Charter and the Augmented Human Accords of 2037, cybernetic augmentations with potentially lethal applications require Ioana to register with the M.E.C.A.H. (Mutated, Esper, Cybernetic, or Augmented Human) Board. She is disqualified from military service, police work, and most professional sports leagues. She is certainly forbidden from being employed by a PMC and has signed a waiver stating that she will not use her augmentations in any kind of mercinary work or criminal enterprise. She certain does not turn her limbs into anything dangerous, such as scything blades or piercing spikes, and she most certainly only uses water rather than, say, hydrochloric acid to create an arm. To do so would, naturally, place both her and BioSynth under severe legal sanction. Fortunately, Miss Jderoiu's fighting days are behind her and she is more than content to live out a peaceful life as a law-abiding civilian.
