Backstory: Celia was born when a human male met up with her mermaid mom.
And they fell in love. And then the baby came which was Celia. But it was at the worse time possible.
So her mom had to keep her safe in the kelp forest. While some bad pirates and mermaids raged in an epic war.
She woke up from her egg and started to get familiar with the Mediterranean sea.

She always tried to stay away from humans. But she was getting curious as time goes on. Maybe it was her human side
That made her curious. But she wanted to learn from them but was afraid to give up her sea legs.
She ran into a witch an evil sea witch. Who promised her legs if in return she could escape the palace with gold.
But she had to do it before midnight on the third evening in autumn.

So she had legs and started to fit in with their society when she got the gold and escaped.
She was almost caught but she wasn't and got back into the sea where her tail grew back. And she
took the coins too the witch. Who granted her a golden necklace. And with the magical abilities it grants her.
The ability to grow her tail or to keep her legs. If she lose the necklace or it was destroyed she would be forced
To live as a mermaid for her life. And would grow her tail on the spot.

She doesn't like to show people her necklace. As she has a fear of it being broken. So she will only let
People touch it if she trusts them really well. She is very skiddish around people and will often
Not know what to say. And she loves the warm waters off the coast of Italy the best. As it is her home and and she knowd
The oceans and caves very well. And all the hiding spots. She has been know to sing to the humans
Late at night to try to lure them to the water.
