Ixnay

His true name, Cyrukathandris, isn’t so easily pronounced; among others not of his own kind, he simply goes by “Ixnay.” It’s less a name than it is a description. A description of what he does. To put it in the mildest possible terms, he makes people go away. As this is usually accomplished by devouring them, it’s often permanent. It’s often done while the person is still very much alive, and more often than not with them kicking and screaming. It’s not something he necessarily has to do, but it’s often the most practical. He’s rather large, after all, and anything smaller than a typical human or fur simply doesn’t fill the needs his size requires. He’s not overly proud of taking lives in such a manner, and in fact he very genuinely regrets it — sometimes more than others. But he understands quite well that it’s what he must do to survive and doesn’t hesitate to do so. It also doesn’t prevent him from taking what pleasure he can from his prey should he so feel like it.

So, just what is Ixnay? Other than large and predatory? A glance at him is sufficient to identify him as a dragon. He’s not exceptionally large as far as dragons go, standing a mere seven feet at the shoulder and measuring only forty feet from nose to tailtip, but this is more then enough to accomodate most of the creatures he would consider as potential prey. His body is quite long and serpentine, with very little differentiation between neck, body, and tail. His neck and head extend ten feet forward of his shoulders, and some over fifteen feet of tail flows behind him. He is capable of standing his hind legs, but prefers a quadrupedal stance, and the fact that his forelimbs are nearly as heavily muscled as his hind legs attests to this. A pair of massive wings fold down neatly along his back and sides, though at their fullest extent they span some eighty feet. His coloration is a dark, dull blue for the most part, though his belly scales and the undersides of his wings and tail are noticably lighter. Two heavy horns adorn his head, curving upward and outward behind his eyes. Like the claws at the ends of his talons and the tops of his wings, they are a dull black in color. He also sports a ring of six short spikes near the end of his tail, each alternate spike pointing either forward or backward, all the same flat black as his horns and claws. His eyes, the only thing about him with any vibrancy to their color, are a brilliant sky blue. His tongue, incidentally, is forked and black.

He has no real special abilities to speak of, save one. He cannot be in anyway be directly affected magic or any other abilities not generated purely by physical means, and this includes both harmful and beneficial powers. Note though, magic which isn’t affecting him specifically is not negated by this immunity — spells on weapons to increase either their accuracy or the force with which they strike, or a spell someone might use upon themselves to increase their own strength, to site examples.

Ixnay is exclusively a predator, and does not practice ingesting his prey by any means other than his mouth. He does not “yiff” per se, but he is rather… talented, shall we say, with his tongue. He normally prefers his prey intact but, being a dragon, does, on occasion, have a taste for blood. He’s picky about neither the species nor gender of those he catches — and though he hates to admit it, he considers other dragons to be something of a guilty pleasure on those occasions where he so indulges.

(It should, however, be noted that The Player is, on occasion, notoriously finicky, so please don’t be offended should he decline or request certain scenes or types of characters, depending upon his mood.)
