It's clear upon first glance that this feline isn't all that she seems. While her appearance shows that she's rather simply, if unkemptly dressed, her hair dyed as it is indicates a more questionable demeanor. She wears a pair of thin wire frame glasses, having given up on her contacts after a while. In fact, many of her priorities changed. Formerly being interested in dolling herself up with make-up, wonderful designer clothing and being one of the popular, pretty girls. Plans change, and she was forced to start looking into academic endeavors, particularly those of computer science.
What would cause one to give up the popularity of preppy proportions?
Simply put, an accident happened during a cheerleader practice. All she remembers is she was tossed into the air, and she started rotating about, and suddenly there was a loud snap and everything went black. she woke up later to find herself in the hospital, doctors telling her that she had done some severe injury to her lower spine and that she was now partially paralyzed from the waist down. Now resigned to living her life in a wheelchair.
She finds it to be a very positive experience though, as mentioned it pushed her into technology, coming up with multiple hardware and software breakthroughs. Most of which not many others can understand in a sensible manner. Between her typical programming on custom hardware and her occasional dabbling in hacking on traditional hardware, she keeps busy, easily making the most of her permanently seated lifestyle.
Instead of using traditional binary systems for programming, she came up with a system that runs off the genetic proteins of ATGC, coming up with a way to fuse the mechanical aspects of computing with the complex biological nature of genetics. Her first test with her new systems was to make a copy of her own genetic structure for use in the computer. Providing her with the ability to make an AI of herself known as
DyNamicAlice.
Through this, she's been able to further customize and further he researching and experiments, and now has developed a laptop with a touch screen that allows an individual to press their palm against the screen to be absorbed into the computer to interact with her AI in the virtual world and experience things they otherwise couldn't. Though, she still needs to work on the mechanism by which an individual can return from the computer realm, maybe someday.
