Jahan

There's not much of a story to tell-Jahan's a feline in his late 20's, and just trying to find his place in the world. Sure, he's struggling through graduate school, but he still feels like he's got no idea what he wants to do with his life.

Jahan’s generally pretty friendly and talkative (and, if you ask a question about science or his research, *will* talk your ear off), and, well, a giant nerd. At some point, he became an extrovert and he’s still not quite sure how or when that happened–he just realized he was willing to strike up conversations with strangers. He’s a bit scatterbrained an easily distracted, too, his mind switching tracks and conversation topics easily-especially when he gets really excited. He’s aware of this, though, and how it can be irritating, so he tries to keep it in check, which creates an interesting paradox for the feline: He's a shy extrovert. The thought of *bothering* someone mortifies him. Generally, though, his curiosity overwhelms that fear of being a bother. As such, he tries to be friendly with most people he meets, and tends to be legitimately fascinated/interested in most people’s jobs–he’ sincere in his belief that pretty much every job out there is important in one way or another.

Physically, the cat's quite lanky, perhaps even for a feline, his slender body leaving no real room for body fat. His sunflower yellow fur fades to a creamy white around his belly, and he's *generally* clad in a fashion that would be at-home in the late 90's. (What can he say? He's a big fan of the unbuttoned overshirt. It's like a mini cape!)

((Note: While this is sort of the 'default' for Jahan in a Modern setting, he can be easily adapted to other setups-The way the character *acts* will be fairly consistent, though.
