Basic Backstory:
Born and raised in slavery, Jaiera and her species in general were considered an exotic addition to any slaver's collection. Many delighted in her kind's special looks, making them fine belly dancers without requiring any degree of special training. Sold to an essentric but otherwise rich mage, Jaiera was expecting a life as either a sexual slave or life in a cage to be gawked at by patrons.

What really happened was that she was used in many of the mage's more eccentric experiments, and delighted in feeding her his other failed creations. Being a master of the creation and manipulation of candy, Jaiera was soon infused with a degree of taffy like qualities, forever changing the color of her skin, the consistency of her body and even her taste.

Her chance to escape came when a freak accident involved in a bubbling cauldron caused the entire upper floor of the tower to erupt in a massive exposion of multicolored treats. Somehow surviving the eruption, Jaiera wasted no time to leave the tower and make her way into freedom.

Fearing recapture, she evaded civilization for several months, if not years, before finally settling down with a travelling troupe as something of a dancer as well as a curious attraction due to the nature of her body. Thus she can be found in almost any location that could accept a troupe as they travel around the country side entertaining people and making a living through their art.

Personality:
While once immensely paranoid with an intense inability to trust, she has eventually mellowed down to a mere instinctive distrust of strangers and newcomers. She does warm to them quickly if treated kindly and with respect, and especially if she finds them attractive.
