The daily life of a Pokemon Breeder is a relatively simple one. Raising Pokemon with care, either for themselves or for passing trainers that happen to drop them off. The most difficult part, however, is possibly when those trainers want their Pokemon to make an egg. It's a challenge to get those Pokemon to do... whatever it is they do to make an egg when they're not particularly fond of one another. And lord knows how many Dittos pass through the Day Care. But the hard work's all worth it when that egg finally comes.

...But sometimes the trainer doesn't want the egg, or sometimes they want the egg, but would rather not have it slow them down on their journey. Jameson here offers a special service to these trainers. If they don't want to have to carry the eggs around, he'll 'babysit' them and help them to hatch, ready to join the rest of their family later. Or if they don't want the egg at all, he'll keep it and raise the baby Pokemon himself. However, Jameson's methods are a little... unorthodox.

See, eggs need to keep warm in order to hatch, which being around a trainer helps to provide. Even some Pokemon can warm up the eggs faster and help them hatch. As a way to kind of emulate this, Jameson will... swallow the eggs. Pokemon Eggs can be pretty tough, so Jameson figures that his stomach would be a reasonably safe place to help warm them up and keep them close. He keeps so many inside him at a time, his co-workers joke that he's pregnant. ...Though he kinda treats it that way as it is. He treats those developing Pokemon like his kids, whether he keeps them or not.

Carrying those eggs in his belly also seemed to indirectly effect his appetite, since he often insists that he's "eating for more than two".

While he's not much of a battler, he does own a Floette that helps around the day care. She's been with him since she was a newly-hatched Flabebe, and they've been inseparable ever since. ...Now I know I said Jameson isn't much of a battler, but if the day care or any of the Pokemon in it are being threatened...
