A small psa; Given how little these days I have time for role playing or messing about, if If I don't have a tag up, assume I just wanna vibe. If I want to rp, I'll approach and ask about it.
Sure, some messing around publicly is fine- but, I'd really like it if you ask before doing stuff randomly with me publicly. Unless I tell you otherwise.

Meet Mr. Hale:

A fresh young man with tons of potential in life, stuck working in a boring job at as an accountant for a promising business group. Jared was gifted with an incredible watch that allows him to alter the very fabric of his reality when needed, however, it's not something always needed for scenes and can be left 'out of play' if requested.

Meet Jared Hale,

A simple guy from a simple way of life. Hailing from a small town in the midwest of the United States; Jared found himself moving to the Nexus Area after landing a job at a promising upstart of a business as an Accountant. While it's not the exact job he wants, he is thankful for it and works as hard as he can. Jared hasn't done much really in his life worth mentioning, has big plans though!

Sadly though, plans don't pay bills or get food or get a Girlfriend, so he works a large amount of the time to afford rent in the big city. Thus meaning the majority of his free time is spent trying to get a girl, working on various side projects he gets, and playing Video Games.

But one morning, on his way to work no less, he had a run in with a strange old man and was given something that changed his life forever... An exotic watch from an unknown plane of existance.

His 'Power-Watch' grants him a wide variety of powers; most of which are just simple things like basic flight, thermal heat manipulation, and the ability to blast fire from his hands in any type of fashion. Jared basically pulls heat from around him when he wishes to use his Fire based powers. His watch can do remarkable things... And sometimes... not so much.

He has since found out how to upgrade some of its abilities, which has given him access to temporary boosts of super human strength, durability, reflexes, sight, and agility. He also discovered it can change his size similar to how Hank Pym's particle works. Antoher thing he had learned about his watch is that it can call forth different versions of himself from across all sorts of deminsions and univereses and give him access to their forms. Some of them are as interesting as a warlock from a forgotten time, to a mighty Sayian half breed warrior.

He has also learned that if something fatal is to happen to him while he has the watch on him or near him it will rewind his personal time to keep him from death. When he does die however, he wakes up as if he just got out of a long nap, or a horrible night's rest. Jared is typically very sore and in need of hydration and food after such events.

As one would notice the 'Power-Watch' seems to run on nothing, and for the longest time Jared thought that was the case too, till a fated encounter with some time-traveling stranger forced him to go even further beyond his limitations and caused him to splinter apart and shatter.

Taking himself, and the Stranger, out in one massive burst of temporal energy.

Having woken up after the encounter he noticed his Power Watch was no longer on his wrist, nor being anywhere even close to where the battle had happened. It seemed as if that entire day was utterly erased from existence. Jared got up and began to head out to where the encounter took place and noticed that nothing had ever happened there, and that there was no signs of anything having had him or the Stranger involved happened there.

Puzzled and confused, he willed himself to rewind back to where and when things all went down between him and this Stranger. Only to find himself in a small black room, with the TheWatchMaker in it.

It was here where Jared learned exactly how his 'Watch' worked, and that it was not meant to take the shape of just a watch, but it was to be a small robotic assistant, much like a Ghost from Destiny.

Having learned about how his 'Spectre' worked, and that it functioned off of an aetherical substance known simple as 'Whisps' that flowed through him and any organic material in the known universe, Jared set out to find this 'Stranger' and settle things with them once and for all. Jared also had learned that day that he generated high amounts of 'Whisps' and some others did as well, hense why they are able to use the 'Spectres' or 'Power Watches'. He was one of the first of recent times to be able to awaken his Spectre Form.


Generally speaking, his Watch breaks the laws of Physics and those of time, by using a aetherical like substance known as Whisps.
