Jolly, a quote to start a profile and then it's not even from the Character himself? This must be one lazily written work you're currently reading. Or perhaps... This guy here is a wandering writer! As well as a sellsword to get some money along the way. Jean, formerly a lieutenant, now travels the land in mission for the king to seek for the most interesting and entertaining stories to tell! Even if that means he has to create such stories on his own sometimes. So he's just an author? Of course not. He's a protagonist who lives through fearsome encounters to then tell the tale!





What else is there about this guy? You have an idea about his appearance from the reference to your left. I shall tell you as well now that he wields a sharp rapier that he always takes with him and truth be told: He is more of a talker than a fighter. Most people see him as a freak for his unfitting behavior at times, not that he is an idiot, far from it! And that is exactly the problem: Too far from it. He is a mysterium, knows a lot, drinks and gambles, solves riddles and then goes for a walk with his friend the talking dog. One thing is sure when Jean Gassion enters the bulding: Stories will be told and stories will originate. Oh and just so you know: This char works for both historical and modern settings! How is that? Easy: If we have a modern setting, he's simply a reenactor from a renaissance fair!
