A formal naval captain in charge of one of the finest ships in the Ashax fleet, Jeanne is now known as only The Tempest and her reign over the Surdosa Expanse has yet to find any significant resistance that keeps her on the backpedal. A near behemoth of a woman in size, the shark uses her strength and agility to her advantage in and out of the water. While she's a menace on dry land, she's an absolute terror under the water. Swifter than normal, the dread pirate often becomes the last thing sea treading souls ever see.

The Surdosa Expanse is a vast vast ocean on the world of Atelia, for the most part it's heavily populated by islands of varying size from massive to tiny, quite far out as a whole from the sprawling continents inhabiting Atelia, leaving their inhabitants often victimized by pirates or corrupt officials. The Ashax Naval fleet has the furthest and deepest occupation of islands in the Expanse but their ships can only be in so many places at once leaving colonists and citizens to sometimes fend for themselves if they're not deemed a high priority target. Two things many colonists dread upon seeing them. Pirates or a contested battle between pirates, often resulting in cross fire from the battles, even worse so if they're on an island already.



Voranu is currently the largest known island in the expanse, home to the grand Ashax empire, or rather the Ashax Empire's grand foothold into the Surdosa Expanse A sprawling bustling city of rapid advancement, many seek their home here to make a living, but many equally find no place there, willingly or otherwise and turn to less reputable means. The most common result being would be pirates aiming to make a living but the process to becoming a full on pirate is volatile and rife with danger, a good handful often surrendering to Ashax officials when cornered or simply put down, but those that survive such trials are often regarded as extremely dangerous and a threat to the empire itself.

Born and raised in the oceanic city of Voranu, Jeanne was always one with the sea, aquatic heritage aside she always wanted to explore the sea's and do such wonderful things, several years later she finally would, applying to Voranu's naval division and joining the ranks of the Ashax naval fleet as she swiftly started to rise in the ranks. Eventually landing herself in one of the highest positions she could get at the time, an Ashax Naval Captain. She thought she was at the top of the world, nothing could get in the way but alas her job became so obstructed by what could be equated to Red Tape, the shark quit after a good few years of service, and ended up taking her entire ship and crew with her. All surprisingly willing too. Now christening her ship The Abyssal Monsoon, Jeanne plans on living free and doing as she pleases, how she pleases.

As would be fitting of a scourge of the sea, Jeanne is often if not nearly all the time brash, abrasive, and not to mention blunt and to the point. Though she often delights in tormenting and teasing her 'prey' by making it clear what she likes to do with them. Though her past as a former naval captain prior to her turn to piracy gave her a disposition of intense distain towards disloyalty, and any of her crew that think about crossing her tend to regret it fairly quickly if they even get the chance to do as such. And while she can be affectionate to those she likes, she mostly reserves deep affection for those close to her, primarily her crew. Though on rare occasions her form of 'affection' is showing a lucky crew member what the captain's 'brig' looks like.
