With a history shrouded in mystery and a behavior to match, Jenkins is not your typical Elf. Most elves are dour, serious individuals who only show a merry side to other elves.. Jenkins seems incapable of showing anything but merriment. He seems to constantly smile, even when sleeping, and almost always pops up when someones' not having a good time. In his mind, the world is meant to enjoy; not seclude yourself from. He constantly carries with him many tools to cut lose, though he never seems to have anything on him if one were to search. Being very open and happy about life in general, most elves do not appreciate his presence amongst mortal kind; But none have deigned to really stop him either. Even if they did, they'd have to catch him first..
Jenkins, aside from being perpetually happy and up beat; has many tricks up his sleeves to keep from being captured by anyone. Aside from being an elf, with their uncanny agility and nimble fingers, he's been known to simply appear somewhere else. You couldn't really call it teleportation, for there is no magic or science.. It simply happens. This usually happens when his current employer calls for him; thats right.. Jenkins, for all his merriment and smiles; is not a free elf. And thats actually by choice, he prefers to not be in charge of things and therefore free to be himself. His technical field of expertise extends to Butlery and Waiting hand and foot for his next task. This isn't to say he'll be standing next to a prospective employer at all times; unless ordered too.. otherwise, he simply seems to appear near them whenever they feel the need for his presence. His dark green "suit", a mixture of a robe traditionally worn by his people, tapered into pants with a black 'tie' hanging from his neck. He wears no gloves, but he does wear a reasonable pair of brown leather boots. His attire though, as his inventory, tends to change quickly and without any kind of regard to the usual sense of keeping ones' things where they can be seen. He's been known to pull a platter full of drinks out of absolutely no where; changing his clothing is ease itself.
As of the moment, he's a free agent. He has no owner at the moment, and spends most of his time around the Park; having a good time and attempting to spread some good cheer to the others he may happen across. Aside from being able to make a absolutely delicious cocktail, of any kind; anywhere.. he's also an accomplished chef and loves nothing more then to add some extra ingredients to some traditional favorites. This could be a special spice, a unique plant.. or an entirely new approach to a dish. He is particularly fond of pastries and sweetbreads, though.. and always carries with him (Again, somewhere.. No ones really sure.) a bucket of chocolate mousse.
Aside from his bizarre abilities to manifest delicious delicacies and himself seemingly wherever he's called, and his seemingly never ending bonne amie, he always seems to be bobbing his head to an unheard beat that only he seems to notice. The tempo does change, showing it isn't really a nervous tick; he truly seems to be following a beat only he can hear. Considering his erratic behaviour, though.. is this really that odd?
Obviously, he's happy and quite open to meeting all kinds of new people; he'll never find an employer just lounging around after all..
