Intro/OOC

Jinan is a male naga with more than passing similarities to the real-life rainbow boa. He has the upper body of a man with olive skin and corded muscles, with dark black hair and vivid green eyes. His lower body is a uniform reddish-brown, but takes on an iridescent, multicolored sheen when exposed to light. The effect is subtle, but appealing.

I'm an experienced role-player, with about seven years under my belt. I never quite mastered the art of profile creation, so please excuse the debris and/or malformed tags.

I'm a fanatic for permavore. It isn't for everyone, but if you're interested, or even just curious about it, do let me know.

Abilities

• Constriction
– Jinan prefers to feed by constricting his prey. The muscles in his tail are powerful to begin with, and when wrapped tightly around his victim, cause death within minutes or seconds, by asphyxiation or acute hypertension. He is strong enough to break his prey's bones, but rarely does so, for the same reason most humans don't continue to stab and slice the fuck out of their steak after cutting it.
• Venom
– Jinan's fangs secrete a mild paralytic. It's rarely enough to do serious harm to an adult, unless the victim is wounded or suffering from another illness, but can kill smaller animals and children.

Physical Characteristics

• Reflexes
– Like most snakes, Jinan's reflexes are exemplary.
• Tongue
– Jinan's tongue is long, sinuous, and forked, but thicker than a "real" snake's, about as thick as a human's.
• Jaw
– Naga feed by swallowing their prey whole. Jinan's jaw unhinges and his throat is quite flexible. He can down an adult man without much difficulty, in the span of at most a few minutes. Women and children go faster.
• Tail
– Depending on what time in his life I play him, Jinan's serpentine tail can be anywhere from 3 to 30 meters. At shorter lengths it would remain mostly straight, while after 10 meters or so, it will be coiled up a majority of the time.
