Jolyn Saiki is an odd case.
You ever seen those wallflowers? The kind of people who'll quietly be by their lonesome, never saying a word even surrounded by other people? Jolyn is just that. A quiet, reserved Wallflower... to the extreme even.
However, this seems to have had... odd effects on the girl. You see, never speaking to anyone, always keeping to herself, and in general never being noticed appears to have made her... well, invisible. Like, literally.
Sure her clothes are still there, floating about... but otherwise, she's completely see through. Removing them would make her vanish to the naked eye.
Is it a curse? Some spell? Maybe just an illness? Whatever it is, she's stuck like this... and when one is actually invisible and reserved, people tend to
never notice you.
