Joruri_Ichijo

The daughter of an up and coming Zaibatsu, Joruri Ichijo lived a life of luxury but also one of high expectations. However, what her parents never really seemed to notice was their daughter had a ridiculous Hero Complex, so ridiculous that she believed she was the main character of the Earth and it was her duty to protect the innocent from all forms of evil. While nothing absolutely extreme ever seemed to happen during her childhood or her times at several private schools that her parents put her in, Joruri still longed for the day she would fight against evil and fulfill her destiny as the world’s only heroine. And never once whenever this topic came up either with her parents, friends, or other people did anyone really question a word she said. Eventually the day came where she graduated from her High School, but instead of continuing on to a college there were different plans.

Joruri had confessed to her parents before her graduation that she wanted to go out and see some of the world before she went on to the college they were preparing to enroll her in, claiming that if she was to become as well learned as they wanted her to be, then she needed to see more of the world. Agreeing with such a view point, her parents began to discuss with her a year long trip… to only one place. She wasn’t able to get the exact trip she wanted, but she managed to land a trip to Pandora City where she would spend a year of her life living her dream to fight evil while also seeing more of a world she had never seen before. She knew this year of life in the city was going to be the only one where she could truly fulfill her destiny before coming back home to attend University and possibility get into an arranged marriage. Such was her lot in life, but she never cursed it and sought to make the most of it.

Joruri however had a very strange way of dealing out justice as it involved her devouring the lawbreakers for that was a talent she had become capable of when she was a young girl. Furthermore, Joruri learned that she could ‘acquire’ the traits or abilities of those she ate if they possessed ones beyond the capabilities of an average human. And this only reinforced her Hero Complex and continues to drive her on as she serves as the lone Heroine of Pandora City who fights against evil and manages to keep herself fed in the process.
