Kahili
Kahili is a frog lass, if you'd like to put it simply.
Despite living in a time of witches, wizards and warriors, she was not cursed, hexed or transformed into her appearance. Many a folk assume way back, this was the case for the first of her kind, though nowadays Kerofros, as they are called, wander among the townsfolk as commonly as one might see an elf.
Many types have been discovered, including powerfully strong 'Jungarians,' posh and proper city dwelling 'Puddleponds,' fire-breathing desert-scouring 'Bullagons,' and a rather nasty batch commonly reffered to as 'Poisarts.'
While many can speak proper English, most tend to communicate with each other in a launguage only known to outsiders as 'Keronaise,' each race having a specific dialect; according to studys done on the species.
Kahili, however, is considered a 'Swampdweller.' Simple folk living in what's believed to be the birthplace of the entire race.
While not technologically advanced, many see them as a rather adorable, lovable asset to their adventuring parties, due to an inexplicable ability they've gained over the eons. With an extraordinaryly strong tongue and impressively stretchy stomach, the beings take slight delight in consuming roaming and weakened monsters whole.
This is due to the fact they appear to be able to learn magic this way, creating quite the powerhouse in spell-casting mages... if not a bit squishy in the actual battling department.
Kahili, however, appears to be doing just as many before her have. Set out on a journey to make a name for herself, to discover spells and become a name reverred in Kerofro legend...
