Kaitlin "Katie" Draco was born in the tropical country known as Paradiso, a popular tourist attraction whose natural beauty is only marred by its dark and sordid past spoken of every so often in books and by the people of the country. Katie grew up with her older sister Amythyst Draco and their loving parents. As a child, Katie was an inspiring inventor who spent time in her room inventing things here and there but sadly most of the things that she invented blew up shortly after she tried to use them which nearly turned her way from further attempts to invent anything else. But thanks to her older sister Amy who encouraged her not to give up and try and try again. That's exactly what Katie would do, she would follow her sister's helpful advice and would try as hard as she could while trying to invent something that would work and wouldn't blow up afterwards when attempting to use it! Finally, her endeavors would pay off as she had invented something that worked and it was something that'd help her out quite a bit at the time, a hoverdisk. Katie, at the time wasn't as good as a flier as her sister, so this invention of hers inspired her to continue to invent, ignoring the fact that the majority of the things that she invented either broke or blew up.

Things were peaceful in the country for a good ten years, but this peacefulness came to an end when a group known as the Gemini Trio surfaced, the trio was out to break the seal on an evil dragon known as Tyrant. An evil being who terrorized the country long long ago before being sealed away by the parent's of Amy and Katie using a very special amulet. That amulet belonged to Katie's sister, Amy and her amulet was what the trio were seeking and it was needed to break Tyrant's seal. Katie wasn't a fighter like her older sister, Amy and as a result isn't as strong as her, this wouldn't help matters when the Gemini Trio coordinated a daring attack on their home, Katie was able to fend off the trio some but wasn't able to stop them from running off with her sister's amulet.
They'd run off for the ruins of Tyrant's castle with their parents in
pursuit. Amy and Katie, being the adventurous types, would follow after their parents.


Once at the castle remains,the Draco sisters and their parents would defeat the Gemini Trio but they would still manage to use Amy's stolen amulet to break Tyrant's seal, releasing him from hundreds of years of imprisionment. His first action after being released was to slaughter Amy and Katie's parents. ((After a rather one sided fight against him.)) Horrified by what they'd seen, would try to avenge thier parents but were defeated and tossed into the dungeon within his ruined castle. With the sisters down for the count, Tyrant and the Gemini Trio would begin to elimate anyone who was with thier parents when he was sealed away.
Katie, herself was grieving the loss of her parents but she'd have just one resolve, to seal away Tyrant again. She'd suggest to her sister that they escape and seal him away to rid the country of him. They'd soon escape and after a second confrontation with the Gemini Trio, Katie would attempt to engage Tyrant in battle, to weaken him so her sister could seal him away with her amulet. But sometimes the best of ideas can go wrong. Katie would be overpowered by the superiorly powerful dragon and wasn't able to weaken him enough. So when Amy tried to seal him away, she failed, he would then retaliate in a way that would surprise both sisters. Tyrant would then deal a fatal blow to Katie, ending the young dragoness' life, she had became another one of Tyrant's victims.

Dying sucks and Katie knows firsthand about that experience! She would remain dead for a long ten years until a person known as Neko_Kim, ventured to the afterlife and brought her back to the land of the living, resurrecting her and reuniting her with her sister, Amy. Katie would spend a bit of time catching up with her sister and would be surprised to hear that she had been the one to defeat Tyrant and what she had been doing after that time. The sisters now reside in Amy's home in the desert and will every so often venture off on an adventure or to explore the land. If not out and about, Katie will be found in the makeshift lab within the basement of her sister's home, inventing useful inventions.

Personality
As stated before, Katie isn't a good fighter like her older sister, Amy and as a result, isn't as strong as her sister. So, she tends to avoid conflict whenever she can by outwiting whoever is chasing her by using her wits to outsmart them or by getting away by use of one of her inventions. Katie is quite an intelligent dragon. ((After all, she's an inventor!)) When bored, the dragoness is often seen challenging her mind with a game of chess with someone or with a puzzle game of some sort. Though she doesn't fight, she'll occasionally head off on an adventure with her sister to explore new locales and in the process, learn about the places that she goes to. This is to help inspire her to create new and useful inventions. ((Ones that'll hopefully work and not break or explode when she tries to use them.)) After all, the reason that she enjoys inventing is to help those around her such as her sister in their ordinary everyday lives with the things that she creates. Katie is generally well mannered and difficult to anger but doing certain things is sure to get Katie angry. Such things include, upsetting her or her sister, Amy. Insulting her intelligence or any or her inventions and of course, destroying them. Doing any of this is the quickest way for her to get mad and when angered, she tends to use her inventions to punish the one that did so, in her own way.


Inventions and abilities

Pulsar Blade- This invention of Katie's comes off as an ordinary looking sword hilt, useless to all but Katie. The dragoness can channel her spiritual energy into the hilt to create a beam sword that she can use to defend herself against anyone who tries to do her harm.

Hoverdisk-This was Katie's first invention that she used to get around easier since she wasn't as good as a flier as her sister, Amy when she was a kid. Now older, she doesn't use this invention all that often. Rarely, she can been seen hovering around on the disk when she is in a hurry.

Cloaking Bracelet-This is one of Katie's most useful inventions. It appears to be an ordinary pink bracelet on her right arm but once activated, it'll render her invisible. Useful for hiding or remaining undected by someone while she sneaks away.

Reformation-Katie can reform should anything befall the dragoness by use of a silver pendant that she always seems to wear around her neck, a gift from her sister Amy, on her fourteenth birthday. The dragoness will often tuck this pendant under her clothing to hide it from the view of others.
