Parents: A pair of kitsune parents that he doesn't have contact with.

Powers: Sea gaze: His long time at sea and a replaced eye lets him see far distances.
Dark blade: He takes whatever sword he holds and imbues it with a dark aura. Holy objects take bonus damage. People that get a scratch are weakened over time making wars of attrition his specialty. This can apply to claws as well. Although this makes him capable of getting very close, for better or worse. After a good trade deal with Jenny_James he obtained a belt of teleportation. He still has to get used to it though.

Other: Acrobatic: He frequently does great feats of acrobatics as he works his ship.

Events:

After fighting someone because he sold some bad wares and losing, Kaleird was struck by one of his magical artifacts and ended up in her new body. Clearly she isn't the happiest about it.

Kaleird, traveler, pirate, rouge, thief, seller of ill gotten gains and he can even be considered nice. Kaleird left his home before he was even able to be taught basic kitsune magic. Over time he learned a strange magic. The teacher was a mage he traveled with for a few years before the magic weilding bastard tried to take Kaleird's ship. So instead of keeping a good mage friend to learn the ins and outs of his magic he learned a magic all about poison and poisoning all who contact it. This does come with some advantages like being immune to most poison whether it poisons body or mind but this also made him immune to getting drunk. So yes, he does drink beers and ales for the flavor. Over the last 73 years Kaleird has made quite a few enemies on the seas. Many kitsunes would consider him foolish for his lack of teachings. Kaleird doesn't care. All he cares about is adventure. He wants to live his own life and finds humans to be good company. The only hold up on that matter has been his friends all living and dying while he remains young and in his prime. Many of his friends resent him for not keeping up ties when they are too old to move around on their own. Kaleird just can't believe that they are in such straights. He is now learning the reasons some kitsunes never leave their own kin. It is lonely to watch all around you die as you don't age. He doesn't mind meeting new people and finds new ones to be facinating. Why else did he forgo his youthful training?
Of all of his adventures through the years, Kaleird has obviously lead a dangerous life. Killing, pillaging and stealing from a large cast of characters. He has many stories but his favorite is the one of how he lost his eye which now is slightly different in shade than his current. The eye wasn't always his. He was on the sea on the way to intercept a good mark. Some nobles were braving the waters to try and deliver a gift to an ally. Kaleird doesn't remember the details there because they weren't the important details, nope. The real important ones of this tale were the ones who ended that idea of an easy picking of nobles. He was intercepted by another pirate ship. Not some rival or anything just another group that thought they were better than Kaleird's crew which definitely were not. Well aside from their captain. That man was a hulking brute of a man. 7 foot tall and 8 inches of sheer bulk on this man. Kaleird thought he could take him. The kitsune drew his blade and went for a sneak attack from the helm. He leaped onto the man's back and dug his sword free hand into the man's back before digging his glowing black claws into his opponent. The man already lost in Kaleird's eyes. He would be dead in 5 minutes. Kaleird was about to hop off to go dispatch some of the lower level fighters of the attacking group when the beast of a man grabbed Kaleird's tail and threw him into the wall, cracking the reinforced door that lead to the treasury. Before the breath finished escaping Kaleird's lungs from the impact from the door the man threw a punch into Kaleird's face. Getting in a good hit and dislodged the kitsune from the wall. Kaleird sat on the ground coughing for a minute after dropping his sword to the ground. The man looked over the blade. He was likely a man who knows the craft of swords since he looked at it so long. Kaleird used to keep a very shiny green hilted sword before this. The man swung it at Kaleird but not before he could move. It struck Kaleird and gashed his eye. The kitsune cried in pain as his left eye was cut and began to bleed. A few drops sprayed on the man as Kaleird held his eye. Blood oozing between his fingers. The kitsune watched as the massive wall of a man grabbed the sword with both hands to bring it down when Kaleird's right arm began to glow black. He lurched forward and grabbed the blade mid swing. His hand bled, the black glow of his hand mixed with the dripping blood making the drips black in turn. Kaleird ended up having to break the blade when he used his other hand to claw out the man's other eye. The right eye was destroyed when Kaleird's claw bore into it but the other? Kaleird tripped the man by hopping off of the ground still holding his blade and swung hiself on the man's arm right into his shin. Kaleird grabbed the man's other free eye with his claws and slowly worked his way in with it. Just scraping in until he got ahold of the nerve. Kaleird pinched down with his claw and severed it. The other man was effectively blind. Kaleird pulled himself back with the eye in hand as his crew and the enemy pirate's crew ceased fighting to hear the big man's screams. He grabbed at his eyes as Kaleird looked over the eye in his hand. He dropped the sword and pointed all five of his claws into one point before thrusting it into the other man's head and killing him. After the new sac of meat slapped on the floor cracking it Kaleird chuckled before rolling the man over with his foot. "Well you know what they say, and eye for an eye." The invading pirates quickly fled, their captian just fell and these men weren't going to stay around. Kaleird soon collapsed and panted in a heap. His doctor was luckily to have survived and he decided to attatch his new eye into the damaged socket using a mix of magic and science to fix the whole mess. The doctor still won't tell Kaleird how he got it working. Well apparently the big brute of a man wasn't big enough to be a threat when Kaleird learned he could now see over an extra 14 miles of open ocean. And that is the story of how Kaleird lost his eye and gained a new one. He does tend to leave out the part where Kaleird only fell on the man because he fell from a rope he used to get around. But who doesn't embelish a few stories?
