Though she hails from a world where monsters have been transformed into sex-hungry monster-girls, Kallistrate, in addition to already belonging to the relatively safe 'Lizardman' species, is atypically calm and collected. That isn't to say she's asexual, just that she has a libido more in line with that of a human than with her kin.

Kallistrate wanders here and there as a mercenary, and while she is exceptionally skilled in combat, she has a habit of buying poorly-made weaponry seemingly just so it'll break and she can move on to working with another weapon, rather than spend a lot on a masterpiece and deprive herself of experience with all the arms there are to be had in the world.
Additionally, her mastery of weaponry extends to a limited degree to certain magics, notably her fireball spell.
Story:
Born a relatively normal Lizardman, Kallistrate has had to deal with misfortunes almost from birth.
