A species of monster girl, characterized by their beautiful human upper half, and lower powerful snake-tail. Differentiated from the Naga in that they are completely warm-blooded, often far more venomous, and bear live young as opposed to eggs, taking far more 'mammalian' traits than 'ophidian'.
Physiology
Generally growing to a maximum of 30', The Copperhead Lamia is the longest of the lamia species, with all other species ending up much shorter. They are more commonly characterized with a -powerful- coil that, despite their venom, they employ to subdue their prey far more often. This is due to a small venom supply that is quickly exhausted if they attempt to hunt with it. Common hair colorings are black and dark brown, tending to clash heavily with their golden and copper bodies. They are also one of the few Lamia with slitted eyes, as opposed to more humanistic circular eyes, along with front, folding fangs.
The Copperhead Lamia is one of the many 'wild' species of lamia, as they literally find themselves far too 'lazy' to actually attempt any sort of humanity. This is simply due to their nature as an 'ambush' predator, choosing to lackadaisically wait, either on a forest floor or in a tree to capture their prey, as opposed to actively stalking them. Common meals include rabbit, deer, bear and especially cows and chickens if they can get a hold of them. Some will make human a meal, though this is rare, as they prefer to avoid human contact at all costs.
As stated above, Lamia bear live young as opposed to laying eggs. Copperhead lamia are no exception to this fact, able to breed from their own kind, the sister race of naga, and most humanoid mammalian races. Mating season tends to be in the late spring, early summer, though it more depends on the time of birth for the lamia, then a specific set time.

That described Kamini in a nutshell, she always seemed to be bored to one degree or another, always coasting through the world trying to find something to keep her busy, whether it was a human to pick on, or another Lamia to converse with.
It was that odd boredum and her horrible sense of wanderlust that caused her to seek new lands...higher trees, further locals.... Either way it led her far from her home village and out into the world....
