Kanade_Aoba

In an industry dominated by groups of performers, Kanade Aoba (or Aoba Kanade, for those with a mind to preserve Japanese name order) is one of the few successful Japanese solo idols still out there. Sassy and cutesy, she carries herself boldly, both off and on stage.
Formerly the fan favorite member of idol group Tayste-E, she was infamously kicked out for unexplained reasons. Luckily for her, she was quickly able to rebrand and gain back her fanbase, as well as earn global popularity through the whole ordeal (and because she's bilingual, able to speak both Japanese and English).
This whole incident even started a feud between fans of Kanade and fans of her former group members.
Still, fans on both sides continued to wonder: what exactly caused this rift to be formed?
Though not many people suspected it at the time, and anyone who suggested it online was dismissed as a crackpot conspiracy theorist, the truth was that her removal from Tayste-E was very much linked to the disappearance of one of the group's former producers.

Truth be told, behind the mask of her cute, sassy personality, Kanade is quite the sadist.
She'd love to do nothing more than abuse and humiliate every single one of her pathetic little "stans," though to maintain her image, she'd never admit it publicly.
(Yes, it's true that such a personality would still attract a fanbase, but not quite the fanbase she's aiming for.)

Of course, if a fan were to approach her and not back down, or stalk her, or attack her, or anything of the sort, then she'd be given no choice but to retaliate.
She's a much more skilled fighter than she lets on, and would easily be able to defend herself from most predators (of the sexual and non-sexual variety) and turn the tables on them.
After that, such a fan can expect to wake up tied up in her home, and the fun would begin~

Oh, and what happened to that producer, you ask? Well, she has to get rid of the people who know her secret somehow, right?
In other words, what she did to the producer is the same thing she's about to do to you...

(As with all of my characters, the backstory exists as setup for RP and not much else. It doesn't need to be followed exactly, and is subject to change based on scenario.)

- Scenario concepts -
If you're interested in playing but don't know where to start, here are some general ideas for what kind of RPs this character is for.

Kanade as pred (Generally looking for this if I'm "LFRP" or "OPEN"):
1) You are a fan of Kanade who is lucky enough to happen across her in public. Ecstatic, you come up to her, try to speak with her, ask for an autograph, et cetera, but on this particular day, not only is Kanade not in the mood to handle your nonsense, she's also quite hungry. Maybe you're not so lucky after all...
2) You are a nosy journalist who is looking for a big scoop on the feud between Kanade and Tayste-E, but you end up biting off more than you can chew. There have been far more disappearances surrounding her than just the producer's- and when you approach her about it, you learn that you've made a grave mistake, as you're about to end up just like all them.
3) Kanade is simply unable to resist herself one day, and furthermore decides she'd be less suspicious if she "disappeared" someone with no relation to her, so she ends up scooping some random person off the street in some back alleyway. Unfortunately, that person is you.
4) Though she doesn't specifically aim for them, Kanade certainly does have a group of masochist fans online, as all idols do, and when she happens to go browsing on messageboards about her, she finds a user who catches her eye, and decides to go pay them a pleasant visit~
5) After the recent disappearance of Kanade's latest producer, you are hired to take his place. As the person closest to her, you learn relatively quickly of her secret- not that she was trying too hard to hide it from you, anyway. After all, she knows you know what will happen if you try to spill the beans. Instead, might you try to get on her good side by assisting her in the hunt for prey? Or will you try stop her, despite the potential... consequences?

Kanade as prey (Generally only looking for this if I have the "prey" status on):
1) Though Kanade is stronger than she looks, she can't overpower everyone. In any of the above scenarios, the tables could, in theory, be turned. Whether by strength or by wit, if you can outsmart Kanade, you'll be the one who comes out on top.
2) In an alternate universe, instead of being sadistic, Kanade is extremely masochistic. Like, serious gutslut levels. To the point where it's sort of surprising that she hasn't already been gurgled away a long time ago. Might you be the one to do the deed?
