Death. Tragidy. There are many ways to respond to this. For Kariudo, Kari for short, however, there is only one way she would ever have gone...the way of the warrior.
As a young girl, Kariudo was always going to be a fighter. Her parents both masters of most martial arts, they had put everything on the line to start their very own Dojo. Of course, their daughter was the top of the class every session. However, her parent's dojo had unwittingly caught the eye of a very interesting individual...
A weapon forged of hellfire and given both life and a human form, it searched for strong warriors that might be worthy of wielding it. However, when those it tested were not found to be strong enough...it would slaughter them. Brutally. And now it had its sights set on the owners of this new dojo. it sppeared one day, Kariudo helplessly watching as it battle dboth of her parents, and by the time it finally left, her parents were scattered across the entire dojo floor...
Kari ran. She ran fast and she ran far. Fueled by fear, sorrow, deep trauma, she had no limit to how far she would go, until she finally reached the next town over, and hesitantly told the authorities of what had happened. There were multiple witnesses, and each one gave them same description, but the culprit was never found. Kari knew why, though. She could feel it the moment she saw it. It wasn't human. it was a weapon. it was the very weapon that it wielded...
And so Kari spent the rest of her life to this moment training. She trained harder than any ever thought a human could. She gained strength unimajinable, speed unthinkable, and kept going. She made it her personal mission. She would track down any and all living weapons...and add them to her own collection, until the day she finds the one that slaughtered her parents. Once she finds it, she will use everything she has collected to shatter that blade...
During her time training, she met a traveling witch who chalenged her to a duel. If Kari won, the witch girl would give her a gift, but if the witch won, she woudl turn kari herself into a weapon. As it turned out, Kari's training far exceeded what the witch had expected, and Kari came out on top! The gift given to her is the formula for a potion. A potion that could take strong warriors...and turn them into living weapons.
Weapons gained:
Inazumi - Kari met the lightning girl while Inazumi was resting on the grass. Kari gave a friendly approach, so it as simpe enough to trick the poor girl into drinking the potion. Now, Kari has a new sword, the
Inazumi Blade, a sword that gives Kari power over lightning. However, Kari also lets Inazumi turn back whenever she wishes, though it's usually safe to assume Kari has the girl in her inventory, since, as one of her first captures, she has a special fondness for this particular sword.
TheSavageBerserker - Kari met Sofia shortly after the berserker had met Inazumi, and the two wound up making a little bet. Kari and Sofia would have a battle, and to the victor would go the spoils. If Sofia had won, Kari would have given up her soul. However, if Kari won, Sofia would have to drink the Weapon Potion voluntarily, and become Kari's next weapon. Needless to say, Kari won, and gained
the Berserkers Blade, a weapon that gives her insane strength and speed, as well as allows her to ignore pain while she's wieldin it, thus allowing her to push her body beyond it's limits if need be.
Madison_Pendragon - Kari came across THIS cutie when she heard that her first weapon, Inazumi, had a daughter~ Of course, Madison wanted Kari to release her mother, and in the ensuing argument, a deal was struck. The two owuld battle one another, though not with fisticuffs, but in a game~ The winner gets the loser as a prize. If Kari won, Madison would drink the potion and become her weapon. If Madison won, she would make Kari into a piercing of some kind. As it wound up, Kari won the game, and Madison was made into
the Pendragon Sickles, a weapon that, when wielded by Kari, lets her see moments into the future, so she can predict her enemies attack before it happens.
