Kay is certainly a unique girl in that she has abolutely no idea who she is or where she came from. Her parents were supposedly eaten in a predator attack while she was still a small child. However, neither of their remains were ever found in the area. As a result, Kay has grown up to be a bit wild, refusing to work, drinking, partying, and running off to run in the woods. Enough so for people to think one of her parents weren't entirely human, though she shows no signs of demihuman attributes.
Perhaps the most obvious feature people will recognize about Kay (beyond her skimpy attire) is her bulging gut. She's almost constantly pregnant. Despite the mayor personally offering to buy her a lifetime supply of condoms, birthcontrol, and abortions, the young girl has so far birthed more than twenty babies. As she has no real job beyond living off of child support, the babies are typically taken away from her within a few months.
Kay has a nasty habit of drinking while pregnant, much to the dismay of the other townsfolk.
