The character description
Kayla is an anthro unicorn pony. At first glance she seems like your run of the mill unicorn mares, always sporting a white tank top and a baggy pair of black cargo shorts, along with a belt with an odd looking buckle at the front. She has teal fur, and mint green hair accented with streaks of silver and gold. Her horn protrudes an impressive four inches from her head. While her feet end in thick, hooves, she has hands similar to humans, 5 digits per hand in total. While not drop-dead gorgeous, her well toned form does have pleasing curves in all the right places.

The character background
Kayla wasn't always a unicorn, or a herm for that matter. She started out life born to two loving, hard working parents outside of small village similar to Ponyville, in the land of Equestria. At an early age she learned how to make medicine with her mother, and how to hunt for food with her father. She seemed to pick up both important skills quickly, medicine making even moreso. At the young age of 10 she entered an apprenticeship with the village's Apothecary. Upon doing so, she skills grew dramatically. After only a week she had already mastered crafting medicines and potions her mentor had just finished fully grasping. As there was nothing else to teach her, the mentor in question, already a stallion of old age left her the shop, and went into retirement.

During the years of serving as her village's source of medicine and healing, Kayla learned much more, and through trial and error she even discovered new potions. One day she made the plan to concoct a potion like no other. The ability to grant normal earth-ponies like herself magic, or even flight! She continued her research and studies during the closed hours of the store and just shortly after her 17th birthday, she made a break through. While it had been a long arduous journey, she had finally crafted a potion that would grant the imbiber the ability to wield the magic she had desired for so long. With a bit of reckless abandon she rushed through the methods of checking for possible side effects, and downed the potion without delay. At first nothing happened, and Kayla returned to her notes, trying to work out if she had missed one of her ingredients. Sighing in defeat, she retired to her quarters for the night, leaving her mixing set and notes out in hopes that she could figure out something later in the morning. In her exit of the apothecary's lab she failed to notice that a bit of her potion still going through the final check of side effects had turned from it's normal milky violet color to a blood red color.

The shift in color would go unnoticed for quite some time as Kayla woke up with a start, realizing she had overslept, and rushed to open the shop up for customers. At some point during the day however Kayla's head began to ache, as if something where trying to escape her skull. At first she tried to bare and grin it, as she was quite busy that day, already having 20 customers in only the first hour. However at one point the skull splitting pain forced her to her knees, groans and shrieks of pain escaping her clenched jaw. She rubbed at her head, trying to soothe the pain only to discover a rather noticeable bump just above her forehead. She froze, feeling the bump with both hands, the pain now significantly less than it was before. She was growing a horn! She even felt a foreign tug at her psyche, connecting her mind to the horn as it emerged, to full length. Before she could celebrate however, her horn lit up all on it's own, and started to unleash torrents of magic of it's own accord. In horror Kayla attempted to stop it, both with mental commands, and with her on hands clasping around it. However the first only seemed to worsen the problem, and the latter only yielded her superficial burns to the hands. At this point the store she had grown to love over the past few years was now filled with smoke as each magic strike lit more of the little shack ablaze. Trying feverishly to stop the destruction, Kayla resorted to taking an anesthesia to knock herself unconscious.

When Kayla awoke she was no longer in Equestria, but laying against a tree upon a hill over looking what appeared to be a park.

Summary of Back-story(if you don't like reading stories ^^;) Kayla is a skilled hunter and prodigal potion maker. She arrived in the Nexus after trying to stop her newly grown horn from destroying her shop.

Updates
Kayla now knows that she is a herm, thanks to having removed her clothes to take a shower at a newly found friend in the Nexus.


After a bit of saving Kayla has settled down with her own shop on the outskirts of town selling potions and elixirs. She still runs a travelling potion shop albeit less often.

Kayla has taken Crystal_Kirin as a mate~.

Fire_Princess_Kiro agreed to be Kayla's personal cumdump in exchange for not eating her.

A little fling with LightningBlast turned into a litter of 4 Neko Ponies. Kayla's loves playing with the mare's pregnant belly~


Kayla has learned quite a few new potion recipes, and experiments to create new ones every day.
