Story

Kazuya grew up like any other kid would, well any other kid coming from a demon slaying village. From the age of just two years old Kazuya's training had begun. For hours and hours a day Kazuya was taught one technique and tactic after another. He was still allowed to play outside like a normal kid as his parents thought it was best for a balance between training and fun. Not all families in the village felt the same way so Kazuya did not have too many friends to play with. Kazuya was not the greatest student but he still mastered his families techiques and tactics with ease. His parents were quite proud of their son and were always praising him.

One day when Kazuya was fifteen he noticed a man arguing with the village leader. People would often come to the village asking for a demon to be slain so having outsiders at the village was not uncommon. Though normally they were not arguing with the village leader. The man left in a huff and stormed out of the village. Kazuya saw the village leader shake his head before Kazuya ran off as he was late for training. A week went by and nothing happened but on the next day things changed for the worst.

Normally the village was hidden from demons, that way they could not come seeing revenge for the deaths of other demons. Humans could find it no problem as long as they knew where it was at. The day that everything changed Kazuya saw the man that had stormed off. The man had lead hundreds of demons to the village for a reason that Kazyua did not know but he was going to find out. Kazuya took off after the man who fled the moment he was spotted. Kazuya chased the man for what seemed like hours before he finally caught the man.

The man was apparently a demon summoner, who apparently had come to the village asking how to summon and bind a demon to his will. The village leader apparently had told the man he was insane and refuse any help in such a wicked practice. The man had found the way to do what he had sought. Though the man had nothing to offer the demons except one thing. The location of the demon village, with such a powerful bargining the man lead them straight to the village. A few demons attacked to try and save the man but Kazuya dispatced them with moderate difficulty. The man tried to run but Kazuya killed him before he could get away.

Kazuya returned to the village only to find everyone dead and the village destroyed. He fell to his knees in anguish, he blamed himself for leaving. If he had not left maybe he could have save at least his parents. He got up and ran off, unable to stand the sight of it all. For a week he lived in the forest before returning to the village to bury his family and friends. With nothing left to keep him there Kazuya look off to find his own path.

Ten years had passed from that day and Kazuya was a young man now. He had made a name for himself as a demon slayer. He was recognized in most villages and often sought out to kill a demon that was causing trouble. He knew that there were good and bad demons but he also knew that demons liked to decieve. Kazuya is always weary of any demon he encounters, whether good or bad. He does not trust people all that much either and this has lead him to having no friends so far.

Kazuya is no fool, he will not take on a challege head first. He prefers to see all the angles that he can and keep a cool head in battle. Kazuya goes from village to village, offering his help any way he can. Though he often gets call a pretty boy, a title he does not like but has learned to deal with. Demons are not all that he will deal with. Kazuya will deal other evil creatures if he has too. If they are attacking villages or just slaughtering people for fun then he can not just let it go. Whatever he is doing he just trieds to rid the world of one evil creature at a time.
