Street Fighter. A legendary video game franchise with a massive fanbase. Many players playing, competing in tournaments, training to be the best of the best.
Though...there are some that take it a liiiittle too far.
A young girl named Kei Masters. she's been at the game since Street Fighter 2, and hasn't quit the series since. Alpha, EX, 3, 4, even the Vs. series. She's even tried a few of the competitors and clones, though they didn't suck her in nearly as much as Street Fighter.
Though, she's often mocked by her peers and the rest of the SF community by her choice of 'main'. Namely, Ken Masters, AKA That Damn Ken. She loved playing as Ken since SF2, even though he was exactly like Ryu in the beginning (maybe it was the hair). Every game, every time a friend challenges her, she uses Ken, much to her opponent's chagrin. Her obsession continued to grow until she reached the point where she wanted to be just like him.
So...Kei started to study martial arts. And by 'study martial arts', I mean 'try Street Fighter moves at home'. She even bought herself a red gi (and just to happens to have blonde hair, a similar first name, and the
exact same last name. Coincidence?).
The young fangirl then picked a fight with the toughest guy in her high school. The fight was over with one punch... But she was very determined and continued to train after each repeated loss. The next time she'd challenge him, both he, as well as the rest of the school, were in for a shocking surprise. Just as he went in close for the knockout blow...
"Shoryuken!!!" *POW* The fight was over in one punch yet again, but this time Kei was the victor. Seems her fangirlish obsession payed off a bit. Everyone was impressed tht Kei could pull off what would normally be impossible for a real person, and started to wonder if she could fire a Hadouken. Kei certainly couldn't....

As for the girl herself, she's nice and rather friendly, though her aforementioned obsesion makes her stand out a little, and some people still ridicule her for it despite K.O.-ing the toughtest guy in her high school...

Shoryuken (Dragon Punch): An upwards uppercut move. You should know this already.
That's...the only move she's learned so far...and even then, she hasn't mastered it. The first time she simply got lucky.
