In this world of ours, there exists many myths and legends. But there exists a country in which the people tell of an amazing legend. The legend of an unlikely hero who came to their aid in their time of need. One may ask, who was this hero? Why, it was a warrior that hailed from the country of Sylinda, the country was once in terrible peril. Long ago, demons ran rampant in the country, ruling over it with an iron fist. The demons treated those in the country like second class citizens, they had no rights. Why, most saw the citizens of the country as pet, as property. And if not pets, food! Times in Sylinda doing this crisis was very grim, those who were unable to put up with how they were being treated, attempted to escape to the safety of their neighbor to the south, Almola Unfortunately, not many made it across the border into the safety that was Almola. Many were captured by the demons that often patrolled the borders, to prevent people from escaping otherwise! The people who weren't as lucky were eaten or killed! Doom and gloom, the people within the country were being tormented by the demons, day and night. It was a cycle that repeated again and again for a while. Eventually, a hero emerged with a blade that exuded a holy magic of sorts. The magic that exuded from the blade was known as sacred magic, equivalent to that of holy magic. The magic within the blade caused it to glow with a divine light, Lightbringer and the hero that wielded it was known as Senho.

The young warrior had went on a journey to do something about the demons and had finally had the weapon that'd liberate from the country, a weapon capable of banishing demons. Shortly after obtaining Lightbringer, Senho crafted a chest, obsidian with runes ectched into it, golden. The runes seemed to react to that of the sacred magic which would prevent the demons from simply burst out of the chest. The chest that Senho crafted was intended to be a prison in which evil beings such as demons could be banished to and would remain forever. Senho then used the power of the sacred blade, Lightbringer to draw the demons within the chest. After struggling to close the chest, he raises Lightbringer high and.... *Shink!* He thrusts the blade into the chest ensuring that the chest would remain closed. The demons that terrorized Sylinda had been contained within Senho's prison and its where they'd remain-forever. With that, Senho had went down into legend for his actions. Why did he do it though? Did he do it for the fame? The attention the noteriety? No, he did it because it was the right thing and he simply wanted to bring peace to a country that cried out for it each day doing that crisis.

Senho soon departed the country seeing as he was no longer needed there. No one seems to know where he went. One could only guess that he went somewhere to live and train in peace. Lightbringer and the sealed chest were the momentos of Senho's actions and to honor the legendary hero, the people of that country enshrined the sealed chest with care. Sylinda had been saved by an unlikely hero, who could have guessed? Several hundred years later, the country remains in peace, the terror in which those demons brought was like a bad dream. Though, someone in the country was curious about the legend of the Lightbringer and of course, the sacred magic! The person interested in the magic lived in the Sylindan Mountain Range, a beautiful natural border that was to the north.

The Sylindan Mountains separated Sylinda from its neighbor to the north, Chennai. Many villages reside in the shadow of the mountain. No one really went up into the mountains and the only people that could be seen up there was the occasional hiker or one traveling to Chennai or coming into Sylinda. In the mountains, there existed many trails. However, one trail runs along a sheer cliff offering perhaps the most beautiful and breathtaking view in all of Sylinda. However, past that point is where the trail grows jagged and very rocky, difficult to traverse otherwise. But for those that can navigate the path, they'll come to a mountain forest of modest size. Beyond that point is where the trail seemingly dead ends at a vast plateau for those without the ability to sense magic. But for those that can, they'll sense some sort of magic, magic that was being used to create a barrier that hid a structure from view! It was the lair of a Kitsune known as Ketrice "Ketri" Arai, aka "The Sorceress" and her daughter, Kyubei Arai.


Beyond that barrier, one could see a building that seemed like an oppulant palace or shrine of some sort! The front of Ketri's lair was quite beautiful, one could see pillars here and there. Carved into the stone ground was a Kitsune, an eight tailed one like Ketri herself! Its tails stretched and curled outward in all directions. The last thing that one might note was the kitsune girl's minions who could be seen here and there, patrolling the areas outside her lair. The minions were of various specie and gender and had decided to work for her as they had all been in some sort of trouble in some way or another.((Ketri had gotten them out of whatever trouble they were in. Grateful, those that she helped soon started working for her.)) In return for their services, Ketri allowed for them to stay within her lair, showering them with as much love and affection as she could and in turn, this made them very loyal to her. Ketri also showered her daughter with as much love and affection as she could, often spoiling her at times. Ketri was away from time to time visiting the nearby town of Syan to simply relax and read. Whenever Ketri was at her lair, she taught Kyubei about the world, about all she knew about magic and in turn, this caused the young girl to look up towards her mother, for her want to become as great of a sorceress as Ketri!

From time to time, one can see young Kyubei with a magic book in hand, studying and or somewhere practicing what her mother has been teaching her. Whenever Ketri was at her lair, the kitsune could be seen in her study, most often reading books on Sylindian myths and legends. It seems as if the sorceress was interested in the legend of Senho for one particular reason, the sacred magic! The sacred magic is equal to that of holy magic, difficult to counter. The Kitsune had a plan that involved the use of the sacred magic, she planned to absorb the sacred magic and with her augmented power, controlling the minds of the entire populace! Though, she had two problems. One: Where was the sacred magic and two: even if she found it, sacred magic is holy magic essentially, how will she absorb it without failing in the process? Ketri assumed that she simply had to corrupt the sacred magic in order for her to absorb it for herself and as for the location of the magic?

She had read that the sacred sword, Lightbringer had been imbued with sacred magic. So, that raised the question: Could the sealed chest be filled with sacred magic and if so, where was the chest? Now, Sylinda is a big country and even if Ketri was to search for the sealed chest, she wouldn't even know where to start! But, she had an idea on how to help her efforts. Not too long after, people in Sylinda started to go missing. Though, the disappearances seemed to be around the town of Menai and the forests around Mt. Etoi. according to what Ketri had read, the sacred chest was somewhere in that general area. Those who vanished around Mt. Etoi had on some sort of strange purplish fox shapped mask, a choker with some sort of black gem embedded into it or a circlet with the same black gems embedded into it. All of these items had one thing in common, they exuded an ambient amount of the sorceress Sune's mind control magic! Ketri was responsible for the disappearances in the area, using her mind control magic to turn those that went missing in the area into her mind controlled minions! Those enslaved by her either scoured the forest around the mountain or came back to her lair to serve her. It wasn't long before the young warrior known as Nella_ noticed the amount of mind controlled people in the forest, tailing after them, she eventually came to the Mt. Etoi Shrine.

At the same time, Ketri was on her way to the shrine, she was sure that she wouldn't run into any resistance. However, just before she reached the sealed chest, Nella then stood before her, blocking her. The sorceress' lips then curled into amused smile. She had heard that most warriors in this country were trained in this part of Sylinda but Nella...she didn't look like one. The young girl's power was insignificant compared to the Kitsune sorceress. Why, it was very amusing to Kerti seeing Nella oppose her! The sorceress then demands for Nella to step aside and allow for her to reach the chest. But the young warrior refused, bashing the evil Kitsune as hard as she could with her shield, staggering her and causing her to stumble back a couple of steps. Once she recovered, Ketri retaliated by firing off a magical blast towards Nella who volleys it back with her sword, causing her own magical blast to hit her back! Ketri really wasn't expecting any resistence when she decided to come out here and she wasn't about to let Nella stand between her and the sacred magic! Ketri then fires off another magical blast, this one was stronger than the last one and Nella couldn't block it! One could see the young adventurer attempt to block the blast but was eventually overwhelmed and knocked aside, the force of the blast had rendered the young warrior unconscious! The sorceress' magical blast struck the chest causing Lightbringer to snap in two, the blade lands on the ground a few feet away from the sealed chest. Several moments later, the chest opens and the demons that had been sealed away a hundred years prior had been released back into the world to plague the land once again.

Ketri then looks over the unconscious Nella before proceeding to the chest and looking inside, it was empty but where was the sacred magic? Had she been wrong to assume that it was within the chest? It certainly seemed like it! Nella hadn't be successful in stopping Ketri but Ketri hadn't been successful either. After returning to her lair, Ketri was in for quite a surprise. One that she'd like quite a bit. Returning to her study, she found someone within, waiting for her. It was one of the demons that she had freed from the chest! The demon introduced herself as Tali, a sorceress that was the greatest one back in her time which led to her being sealed within that chest long ago. Tali was grateful to Ketri for freeing her and the rest of the demons from the sealed chest.

The demon sorceress soon became Ketri's right hand woman, her closest minion. Tali was the one that revealed that the sacred magic wasn't within the sealed chest but within Lightbringer itself! It seems as if Ketri had accidentally destroyed the only tool that contained the sacred magic! But then she remembered that little girl that tried to stop her at the Mt. Etoi Shrine. The Sorceress then orders her minions to spy on the girl, she eventually learns that the girl is on a quest to reforge Lightbringer. Ketri could have her minions steal the sacred blade but decides against it, deciding to use Nella as a pawn in her plan. At the moment, Ketri is just waiting for Nella to reforge Lightbringer and once she does, will steal it from the young adventurer! Its only a matter of time before Ketri's plan succeeds and the world is under her control.

Appearance: Ketri is a Kitsune that stands at 5'9, has purple eyes that seem caring, kind and gentle. A warm, motherly aura seems to exude from the Kitsune, an aura that fills anyone that comes close with warmth, love and affection. The girl's purple hair is silky soft, long and voluminous, going down to her waist. Ketri almost always wears a black onyx choker around her neck, beautiful. It doesn't look as if she bought it from a jewelry store, it looks as if it was crafted by a very skilled artisan. The black onyx exudes an ambundant amount of black magic. The sorceress is able to use the black onyx to enhance her magical attacks, make them stronger. When out, she may be seen wearing one of two things. The first is a purple kimono that's loosely done, it allows for one to see her breasts and curves quite well and white sandals. The other outfit that she may be seen in is a purple shirt that shows off her breasts and curves quite well, the girl's bosom can be seen poking over the top of her shirt but only slightly. Blue pants and white sandals.


Personality: Intelligent, sweet, motherly and kind. Are the words that can describe Ketri, the sorceress that aspires to corrupt the sacred magic, absorb it then use her augmented power to control the minds of the entire populace and create an ideal world that's better in her eyes. But one may look at the Kitsune and simply see her as a kind and caring woman, one who exudes an aura that fills one with warmth and the feeling of being loved, a motherly one! When she isn't at her lair, she tends to be in one of the many towns that lie in the shadow of the Sylindan Mountains, reading, relaxing, doing things to enjoy her day. When she isn't doing that, she tends to look for people who are in some sort of trouble and get them out of whatever trouble they were in. Ketri does this to get more minions at her lair, to serve her. In return for their services, Ketri showers them with as much love and affection as she can. In a way, her minions, Kyubei, they're all family who she cares for quite a bit! Though, on the outside, Ketri is a villain, one who's cunning, sneaky, deceptive and very unpredictable. Ketri is the sort of person to leave false clues for those onto her, clues that'll eventually go cold or lead to a trap or some sort. Of course, those who ask too many questions about her and or become suspicious of her may simply...disappear like all those that she took. One may either be eaten and add to her lovely form or simply become just another minion for her. But on the inside, Ketri is one that loves and cares for those close to her such as her daughter and her minions as if they were family and those that she takes a liking to are those that are showered in her love and affection.

Tail Powers

Tail 1:Teleportation and Shadowport-This allows for Ketri to teleport to anywhere that she's been prior. Though, she has to ensure that she has enough magic to perform the action otherwise she'll probably teleport somewhere else entirely! Shadowport, by using her shadow magic, she can use the shadows to move around and in a way, is faster than teleporting.

Tail 2: Mental and Magical Negation-This ability allows for her to negate all resistences that one may have to mind control magic and magic in general. Perfect for those that are resistent to Ketri's magic. Ketri could use this ability to make sure her magic hits its mark if she wanted to!

Tail 3. Tail of No Return-With this tail, Ketri is able to absorb someone directly into her body, adding, becoming part of her body. The Kitsune Sorceress decides where her target adds to! At this point, it'll be a while before being released. If she likes you then she may keep you forever! But chances are, she'll release you. Question is, would you want to be released or remain a part of Ketri's lovely body?

Tail 4: Tail Stealer-This ability allows for her to steal the ability that another Kitsune possesses. Ketri can essentially make the tail hers by using this tail to glomp over the tail that she wants.

Tail 5: Shadow Paralysis-One of Ketri's favorite abilities! This one allows for her to prevent one from moving by simply stepping on their shadow. From that point forth, she can either absorb the target or make them into her mind controlled minion!

Tail 6: Possession: This is an ability that Ketri doesn't use all that much. In the case that Ketri is unable to control someone via mind control magic then she is able to turn shadowy, ghost like and take control of someone! Should this happen then the person's eyes will turn a light shade of purple to show that the Kitsune is in control! This ability is ideal in situations where she'd be defeated easily or hide in a crowd to get away from those that are onto her, those like heroes, vigilantes and of course, anti-heroes.

Tail 7: Attraction Collar-Ketri is able to place one into a love induced trance. Meaning, that they'll fall head over heels in love with Ketri. All she needs to do for this to happen is to wrap the tail around one's neck and from that point on. Ketri is able to convince the love struck person to do anything. Anything ranging from, being her pet, wanting to be absorbed by her~

Tail 8: Healing/Reformation-This power allows for Ketri to reform herself and others with ease. She may be a villain but she isn't a heartless one! However, she may reform others with slight mental augmentations, making one think that they've been her minion for as long as they can recall! By just using a bit of her magical energy, she is able to heal most wounds. Though, with more serious wounds, she needs to expend more magical energy.

Tail 9: Shadow Duplication: Ketri gained this tail after stealing Lightbringer from Nella_ after enountering and defeating her from the second time. From there, she corrupted and absorbed a substantial amount of the sacred magic imbued within and as a result, gained her ninth tail. The power of her ninth and final tail allows for her to create clones of herself by using any shadowy source. The clones can either be real or illusory. However, it is very, VERY difficult for one to tell if Ketri's clones are real or nothing more than an illusion. Depending on where this technique is used, it can become unbelievably powerful!
