Species explanation:
A bird from the land, dumped into sea, thriving in the sea, only to be forced back on land after thousands of years. A deep sea kingfisher is far from normal. No one knows they exist/ed because their is only one in existence. Kharybdis is named after the might whirlpool feared by Zeus. The bizarre bird is the closet thing to an Eldridge abomination, the first and probably last of her kind the main thing she can be held responsible is the Bermuda triangle incidents.

Bio:
Born into an Atlantian society, (one hidden underwater) Kharybdis was originally called Karen. She was considered royalty because even among the advanced society she had a special power. She was able to put a portion of her soul into certain objects and control them.
She also had a lot of skill with water, a power held in high regard back then. However, one day after seeing a few angler fish, she eventually became curious of the outside world.
"What is it like beyond these glass walls?" She'd ponder out loud, as she started to become eager to explore.
The King of the society, however; began to worry about this. Having witnessed himself that beyond the dome was danger, he tried to suppress Karen's desires. This had the opposite result intended, as she wanted to go outside even more. She even managed to arouse the curiosity within the citizens.
Wanting to silence the rebellious thoughts in his people, the king finally tried to make an example out of Karen by granting her wish. and thrusting out into the water.
An apparatus allowing her to breath barely, she spent most of her adulthood in the abyss; eating other bio-luminescent fish. This steady diet eventually made her mutate and evolve to survive and thrive in the water. Her hair grew out so much it reached her feet. She had an angler growing out of her forehead, and actually managed to grow gills as well.
When she finally tried to go back home, it was a disaster as everyone was horrified of her. This gave the king enough reason for him to banish her to the surface world inside of an oubliette.
Karen, now named Kharybdis was trapped inside of temple built on top of an oasis. Still a bird/angler fish hybrid, she was incredibly dependent on water. It was almost made even more effective by the fact she was in the middle of the searing hot dessert.
Forced to stay inside of the temple, she mutated again to a life on land. She became the Kharybdis of the dessert, forcing her soul into the sand, she'd make quit sand pits similar to the sarlacc and drag animals through a set of tunnels that lead to the oubliette for her food.
She's also the only one who's actually tasted human flesh, becoming more of a monster. Helen found Kharybdis during one of her flights, getting Lilith to come along with her.
After getting a full course meal she was able to get along surprisingly well with the others. After telling her what to expect, the Deep Sea kingfisher finally joined them after asking for one small favor.
Having finished mutating, her angler-fish body parts had fallen off. With the help of Sirenia and Helen, she wanted to have her body parts made into weapons and personal reminders of what she had to endure.

Powers:
Her soul is incredibly powerful. Combine the fact she's an Eldridge abomination and the possibilities are very deadly.
She can force her soul from her body and become a phantom. If the soul passes through a living body, it has a brown noise effect: massive puking, bleeding from the eyes, loss of bowel control, etc.
Depending on how enraged she is, she can use her soul more destructively. possesing a person. She can't feel pain, but the mortals can.
the most violent:
when she decides she full heartedly wants her opponent dead. she completely murders them. making them explode and turn into a rain of blood.
the least violent: Partially possessing them, she can make her target rip their own limbs off until they're nothing but a bloody stump.
Blood is a fluid, so using her control over water she can actively control a person's body movements.
She also acts like a succubus, leaking a bit of her soul into her hair, she uses it to ensare people that get too close to her.
Like a hairy angler

If someone tries to sneak up on her from behind and touch her hair or breathe on it she'll know someone's behind her and attack them. Because she can't see who it is until she already has her beak clamped onto their neck its a blindspot in her heightened sense of touch. When her hair is wet she can use it as an extension of her arms and legs, using it to block as well as morph it into the form of weapons.
her main talent however is her regeneration ability. She can heal very fast from bruises or cut wounds. This ability is heightened underwater since hydration is a major part of it. If her body dries out she can't heal.
Also she's the only avian who can legitimately stretch her jaws wide and swallow people whole and alive even upchucking undigestable things like fabric and metal WHILE the person is trapped in her gut.

Weapons:
the angler cannon: her old shell and the last thing that was shed. By forcing her soul into it she can shoot herself out with more deadly force at her opponent, giving her an advantage when trying to possess someone.
the lantern javelin: The second thing that fell free from her body, the javelin is made from her angler lure. The handle is made from the bone that connected the appendage to her head. Bashing people enough times with it will cause blindness. She can also snap it down the middle, to use the two ends like clubs.
great jaw blade: there are two of them, her lower jaw and upper jaw. She was able to stretch her jaws very wide snap up her prey, no matter how big they were. the two blades almost bigger than herself, and the metal forced into the bones is very heavy. This fits her battle style, loosely flailing her blades around with momentum to cut people clean in half or shatter bones.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Personality: By herself she's incredibly lazy and can often be found basking in the sun or drifting around aimlessly at sea.
She's also one of the more agressive of the five birds, not liking when her beauty sleep is pushed aside to fight a green adventurer.
She does like to eat however. . . a LOT. the best way to get on her side is to offer to feed her and pray you don't run out of food. . other wise she might eat YOU as well.
When under the influene of Sirenia's deadly sin of lust, the two can usually be found together, hunting down prey. Once Sirenia brings them out of sight Kharybdis will wrap up the poor fool in her hair and drag the mback to the phoenician manor to be raped.

Lilith_The_Phoenix - Savior
Nyx_the_Vulture - They equal yet opposites. While Nyx relies on logic and thorough thought, Kharybdis will choose her instincts instead
Sirenia_the_Raven- Kharybdis is more or less and older sister to Sirenia, and is often the ravens sparring partner. However such close contact to the raven means she's usually the first to succumb the deadly of lust. When the two hunt together Kharybdis usually waits in the shadows and will restrict the person Sirenia chooses for them.
Helen_Hummingbird- assistant in finding the quarry that Kharybdis hunts out at sea.
