Kianashi

"Let the flames of your passion burn you to cinders."

It takes a grave offense against the realm of mortals for a spirit to be sealed. Sadly, most spirits are just doing what's in their nature to survive. Such is the case with Kianashi here. A kitsune born from the spirit of passion itself, he danced through existence and spread his desire through the land, inspiring those around him and acting as a muse of sorts for great poets and warriors. Unfortunately, he did not tend to pick sides or favor one form of passion over another. As such, while he inspired heroes and artists, he also did the same for villains and scoundrels. One particular instance of inspiration marked him as an enemy of Japan in his home time period, and the resulting chaos led to his binding.

For thousands of years, he slumbered, until something weakened his seal, and Kianashi sprang forth. That long bound within the void can leave a spirit spiteful or angry. As such, he's a bit flippant in his pursuits now, occasionally resuming his duty as a patron of passion, though it's usually on his own accord. Should his duty as a muse be called for, even abstractly, and it's not of his own devising? Well, he'll typically get rather cross, going out of his way to inflict great misfortune on the poor sod that accidentally offended him, sometimes going to such a direct route as consuming them.

He still bears the mark of the seal on his stomach, a permanent scar and reminder that the mortal realm is one of treachery. While he doesn't hold every human responsible for what happened to him, it's difficult to forget that torment, and occasionally the malice will resurface. It's best to avoid him when such times arise...

Kitsune male under Okusennman. Ask him more about it when he's less drunk, he's gonna review the profile he typed up now when he's sober to make sure it makes sense. Until then, just look to Rodo for preferences.
