Name: Kiki Swan
Location: Transfer student to
Primrose_Academy.
Species: Human
Gender: Female
Among many of Kiki's various activities was participating in the school play. Due to the fact that she's a crappy actress (not that she realized it), she was relegated to a position on the stage crew that no one else wanted; message runner for Madam Kitchov. It was basically 'bitch work'. And, little did Kiki realize... it was
dangerous work.
After the tech booth started to hit their cues late, Kiki was sent to find out what the problem was and admonish them to do better. She arrived in the booth to find Isla alone because Callie had gone off to fix a light and hadn't returned for
some reason. After a brief debate about Callie's fate with Isla and what they should do about it, Lily the Squid Girl stepped into the booth, trapping the pair inside.
The predator decided to eat Kiki because she looked 'less important', dragging the panicking girl to the ground with her tentacles and pulling her towards the sucker-like maw on her underside as Isla tried desperately to focus on the sound and lighting cues so she wouldn't have to watch another student die only inches away. Despite a brief and desperate struggle, Kiki was pulled bodily into Lily's maw after having her top and bra stripped away. The swimmer was still alive and kicking as she entered the octopod's stomach, her hands and feet making impressions against the outside of the mollusk's boneless lower half.
Ultimately, Kiki never did manage to get the Academy a swim team. No one's particularly shocked that Kiki didn't make it... or that she was taken by an aquatic predator. Only that it took so long and didn't happen in the pool.
Personality: Kiki Swan is a bubbly and outgoing girl that prefers the company of others to solitude and a good laugh to silence of any kind. Kiki has an infectious smile that she loves to share with the people around her, and has a bad habit of not taking 'no' for an answer when people want to be left alone.
The reason for this is that Kiki herself does not like to be left alone; she has an almost pathological fear of abandonment after being given up for adoption at a young age before being bounced around through several foster homes. Not all of her foster parents treated her well and she is slightly androphobic. However, these feelings aren't ones that Kiki likes admitting, so she often tries to hide them behind a facade of kooky behavior to deflect attention from what she perceives to be flaws.
Kiki is goal oriented and results driven; to her the worst word in the English language is the word 'no' and she has this bad habit of ignoring it when she doesn't want it as an answer. To her, a 'no' is really a 'maybe'. Kiki also has the very bad habit of counting her chickens before they're hatched. Once she sets out to do a thing, she often considers it as good as down and as a result, doesn't plan for setbacks or difficulties. Most worryingly, she considers surviving her time at Primrose Academy to be a simple enough task; she is after all pretty, popular, and has a ton of friends around her at all times... what could go wrong? Surely she isn't going to disappear like some of the other students have, right...?
Kiki has a particular love of swimming; some of her best childhood memories are going to the pool at the local YMCA on Fridays with the other kids in the foster program. She's been on various swim teams all her life because it combines her two loves (swimming and recognition) into one neat package. She was horrified to learn that the Primrose Academy, while having a pool, has no swim team to speak of. Thus, Kiki has made it her mission in her scholastic life to found Primrose's swim team; she's started a petition and she only needs a few more signatures before she's comfortable taking it to Headmaster Borden.
Despite her many flaws, Kiki is a good person at heart. She is the product of a broken home and a flawed social care system. To her, Primrose Academy isn't a school, it is an opportunity to get into a good college and so that she can reach out and take something more then the short end of the stick that life has offered her. She's a smart girl and does work hard... she has a very real chance at making her dreams come true...
...assuming she survives Primrose Academy, of course.
