Some families have long and proud traditions. The Nakas are lion tamers and have been for generations. Circus folk, as it were. And now the eldest daughter is a senior in
Primrose_Academy. Kimiko is clever, brave, quick-thinking, and armed with a trusty bullwhip. She has little fear of the school's predators (though a very healthy
respect for them, which is something else entirely) and confidence in her own ability to survive the year. What's more, unlike some girls, she's practiced at running in heels from wearing her performance outfits.
Kimiko is determined to survive the year. For one thing, she has a family tradition to uphold and take the reigns of when she graduates. For another, her ancestors would be displeased if she were to be eaten by something she ought to be taming. And she has no qualms about taming a predator that gets to aggressive; the bullwhip she carries at all times is not for show. She's deadly accurate with it and can lash out the eye of a charging lamia with it. She has, in the past.
She's also a closet nerd, for all her physical prowess, in addition to being an active participant on the sports teams.
