| Bio Everyone in life has some sort of purpose, whether it is to be a musician, actor, lawyer, doctor... you get the picture. And originally, that was what Kindra was like. She wanted to be an actor, a person who would be able to be able to go on stage and have become another person. She did her best, practiced countless hours both day and night when she could at school, doing what needed to be done in order to try and achieve her goal. She was good, too, becoming the best actor within elementary school all the way up to high school. She was deemed a prodigy in that art, and having finally graduated from high school, she set off to college with high hopes, and would have probably become quite successful too if it wasn't for the incident. It happened a week after being signed into her choice acting college, her parents were killed in a robbery gone wrong by a couple of hoodlums; however, with the lack of evidence and witnesses, the police were unable to find the killers. It was tragic, and she quickly withdrew from the college in both sadness and rage. Overcome by these feelings, Kindra then decided that she would find these individuals and put them to justice. She decided that if the police couldn't find anything, then she would do it herself. Enrolling into the police department the very next day, Kindra quickly excelled in both the mental and physical aspects of becoming a cop -urged on by her strong desire to take revenge. She passed with top marks and quickly asked to be placed into the undercover branch, in which she used her acting skills to her advantage. With these skills, she quickly locked up criminal after criminal, quickly becoming a legends among her fellow coworkers, but all the while, never being able to find the individuals who have cost her so much. There was one incident that changed the way she would work in her career. She was doing a bust at a chemical lab that she had been working undercover in for the past ten months, when all of a perp set the place ablaze to make their escape. The fire resulted in a large explosion, which caused Kindra to be hospitalized for the next five months. When she recovered and went back onto the field, she realized something was off: she was oddly hungry. It was during a mission that she discovered her new abilities, devouring a criminal whole with little effort. She was surprised at first, but then accepted the idea. She would only devour those who she knew were criminals, and bring those who she wasn't sure or who did no crime to the station for legal. Her partner helps her out when she decides to "detain" individuals, providing a ride and lodging in which she would then spend the next night or day digesting her meal. This proved effect, for the crime rate dropped dramatically. Kindra was given many a medal for her work, as well as her partner -who covered and otherwise wrote the reports that Kindra would otherwise be unable to do after "detaining" her perps. |
