Possible Scenarios

Touka is the owner of :re, a recently opened coffee-shop with an old fashioned style to it. For one reason or another, you've taken to visit the shop, both for the delicious coffee and for the manager's refreshing presence and gentle demeanor. This is similar to a slice-of-life scenario, where your character goes to the coffee shop to talk to Touka on a frequent basis. No vore is required in here, just your good ole' good vibes.

You are also visiting :re, but for a very different reason than the one above. In truth, you're a ghoul or [insert any predatory species] that is being hunted by normal humans for some reason, and you've heard that the :re coffee shop might be more than what the eyes can see. A bit of vore on this one, as Touka works by supplying predators with willing prey for them to eat and with a place for them to live.

You are a prey and Touka's long standing friend/significant one, and you've just found out about her true identity as a ghoul and her disposition as a predator. In this scenario, as in all the others, ghouls are hunted down and if someone discovers their identity, it's dangerous for them. This is why Touka is very upset and actually thinking about killing you to protect herself. You, on the other hand, while surprised by the truth, do not want to snitch on her. This one is another slice-of-life RP where your character may slowly put the pieces together, and then have to convince Touka not to kill and eat them - or to do just that, who might have known?

Here we have yet another ghoul setting no one asked for, yay! In this one, ghouls don't need to actually eat humans, though they are able to - they just need to eat strictly meat, getting seriously sick if they ever eat anything other than that. They are still superhuman in their abilities and have regeneration, which means they are hunted by humans who either want to exploit that or are afraid of the few cannibal ghouls out there. Said ghouls get infinitely more powerful and would be equivalent to Kakuja, though they may lose their sanity and rampage, making them extremely dangerous and rare.

This last one is a somewhat interesting scenario (I think) I've come up with. I guess we're all familiar with scenarios where humans are divided in between preds and preys. Prey are your average, run-of-the-mill humans, able to do normal human things, and preds are stronger, faster, more resilient and, well, able to eat people whole. The only difference is that, in this setting, ghouls are such preds - being able to eat humans whole if they need, and not even getting fat from it because their metabolism is a lot faster than a human's - not even taking into consideration the use of their kagunes and supernatural healing. Humans are, however, still able to fight back, and ghouls are actually repressed by human society due to their small numbers. Did any of this catch your eye? Hit me up, I'd love a scene in here!

Touka's Lore

This is just Touka's canonical story. If you have ideas for other scenarios, feel free to talk to me. I would love to hear your idea, and maybe it can even inspire me to write more!

Touka resided with her younger brother and her father, a ghoul who lived by trying to blend into human society as much as possible, so he tried to teach them all the necessities by taking them to the library and even convincing them to eat human food. Touka always had more faith and confidence in her father than her brother did. On the night before her father was captured by ghoul investigators, Touka promised her father that she would teach her brother many things as an elder sister. When her father never came back, Touka believed he was still alive, and berated her brother for thinking otherwise. The investigators eventually came for them as well, and Touka unleashed her kagune for the first time, killing the investigators and running towards the Anteiku coffee shop, where the owner started to look after the two of them. Her brother went through a rebellious phase and left, whilst she went to college and stayed with Anteiku until it was destroyed by ghoul investigators, who killed the owner as well. She fled the place and ended up in the Nexus, where she created :re as a way to continue helping others as the owner once did.
