A child of the Unova region, Hamon grew up living a normal life. He always had a passion for Dark-type pokemon. He was befriended by a Sneasle and eventually captured it when he came of age. He met Karen in his travels and she taught him to be a better trainer, even giving him a Skorupi as a gift. Now he strives to become just as strong if not stronger than her and claim a place as the first Dark-type Gym Leader.
