Knuckles, for the longest time, has guarded the Master Emerald and the Island it resides on from evil, but has failed in this pursuit many times. Fortunately, he can shatter the emerald to keep someone else from taking it, and restore it with his guardian powers.

As an egg, the Guardian was irradiated by the Master Emerald's energies by his father, in the hopes it would enable him to grow stronger for the trials ahead. Knuckles, accordingly, has many odd abilities and quirks.

The Guardian of Angel Island, however, eventually realised his responsibility was to the Emerald, not the Island as much, and so, he purposely made it fall into the Ocean, though he did so slowly. Angel Island was just a territory that could be conquered by evil, but it was the gem that needed protection. And it would be better protected if Knuckles stayed on the move with it.

Since then, Knuckles has travelled, doing his best to protect the emerald from all foes... and given his strength, this hasn't been too difficult.

Personality:

Knuckles is honest, independent, headstrong, devoted to his duty and often gullible. He is very serious and usually likes to be by himself, but can be relied upon to help out whenever the planet needs saving. In all versions of the Sonic universe Knuckles has a rivalry in some form with Sonic. He appears to be jealous of his independent nature and freedom.

Traits and Abilities:

-Strength: Knuckles' coat hides incredibly-defined muscles. His mutations from emerald exposure have also made his muscles produce far more strength proportional to other Mobians.

-Flight: Knuckles can't fly per se, but he can slow his ascent by gliding.

-Chaos Powers: Knuckles can use some chaos energy, but he's not very strong in it yet. However, his potential outpaces all of his ancestors due to his mutation while still an egg.

-Alluring Breath: Knuckles' anatomy has been altered in such a way pheremones seem to be present even in his innards. This not only makes him physically attractive, but allows him to belch in someone's face and greatly amplify their willingness to be consumed by him due to the fact his inner gases are laced with it.

-Reproduction: Knuckles' mutation has made it possible for his body to produce eggs and sperm alike. He extracts genetic data from his victims, places it in an egg, and internally fertilises it. Generally, this is a method of reformation, as he implants the soul of his prey into the egg. The egg will take only a few days to form, and upon being laid, only a day or two to hatch. The person will be fully grown again within a week after hatching, and regain their memories and personality.

Weaknesses:

-Gullible: Knuckles' physical power seems to have compromised his power to judge people. He is easily tricked.

-Rash: Knuckles tends to let his fists do the talking if provoked enough. This is bad for obvious reasons.

Forms:

Surged Knuckles - Knuckles bulks up somewhat when he absorbs Chaos Emerald/Master Emerald energy.

Absorbed Form - Upon absorbing a person, Knuckles takes on their qualities and grows immensely in power with multiple absorbees.

Enerjak - A darker form of Knuckles activated when he absorbs too much of the Master Emerald's power. It warps his personality into a perverted sense of justice, making him more of an anti-villain than anything else. Enerjak Knuckles sees himself as the rightful protector and guide of the echidna race everywhere and will exterminate and punish all who dare transgress against them. One way Knuckles can attain this form is if he swallows the Master Emerald and integrates it into his body, the insane amount of power warping him a bit.

Vore:

Knuckles is incapable of reforming prey the ordinary way unless he's in a timeline where his powers are very developed. They have to reform themselves or he has to turn them into an echidna hybrid.

Knuckles is capable of oral, cock, and anal vore, but possibly navel too.

Knux, while rough, is goodhearted, and so prefers willing prey. If they're unwilling, he'll try to make them see things his way - his natural seductive talents come in handy here.
