Known as "The Black Rose" in the gymnastics community, Kodachi Kuno is presented as Tatewaki Kuno's sister and a student at St. Hebereke's School for Girls. This is in contrast to her brother and Ranma as well as most of the others, who attend the co-ed Furinkan High School.

Kodachi is both strong and beautiful, and loves to use both aspects for her advantage. For an asian teenage girl, she sports quite the female features and is quite eye candy in her build, without looking pudgy. Her immaculate skin, the long legs, a pretty face and her adorable, silky black hair she mostly has in a ponytail further enhance her appearance - and she has a liking for tight spandex outfits like leotards that precisely show her curves, even when she is not training. Her physique is tougher and more powerful than it looks, and Kodachi is a formidable opponent in a fight, with very quick reflexes, astonishing strength and stamina. That is not the only thing which makes her dangerous, though.

As a master of Martial Arts Rhythmic Gymnastics and captain of the school's team, she often preemptively attacks her opponents with various weapons, including swords or a giant mallet to cripple them, thus winning by default. She calls it "fighting in all fairness before the match." She is especially fond of using paralysis gas and sleeping powders on people, even when she has no apparent motivation to do so. Kodachi regards loosers as weaklings and finds it completely fine to use any method possible to gain the upper hand, even mean, vicious ones harming (or possibly even killing) someone in her way.

The black rose is a malicious, twisted person who is uppish, bratty and dominant, and very self-confident in herself and her skills. While she can be surprisingly nice and charming around friends or someone she likes, Kodachi is wicked, evil and menacing towards someone she sees as 'wimp' or as her enemy. She has no sympathy for them and feels no remorse - in fact, she is perfectly fine hurting them and using them to feel an ecstatic surge of power and control as she has her way.

The girl apparently also has a strong flair for the dramatic. When entering and leaving a scene or leaping throughout the city, she is regularly accompanied by a small stream of black rose petals billowing about her, complemented by a shrill, maniacal cackle that is one of her trademarks.

If she has to or just feels like it, Kodachi is more than capable of acting like a perfectly well-mannered lady, and a first class host - her personality seems to be a bit fluctuating at times. One other noteworthy thing is that she is a rather good cook - and that she, due to training and a flexible, stretchy body, has vorish capabilities. She prefers her meat raw and person sized when indulging in that... and with her personality, she often does this, either to have some fun and enjoy the feelings, or to degrade, taunt and abuse and eliminate someone she wants to take down and marvel in her superiority and dominance (or just both).

- Tina_Fuchs (GC) - idol, girlfriend, love interest: After the quite nice events at the school of Arika_Yummy, Kodachi and the lewd, vicious blonde met again, got to respect and like each other until they even developed an affection for each other, their twisted, dominative personalities matching nicely. They are a couple now, enjoy hunting together, having their fun with someone or making out, but can also just do normal enjoyable things like going to the movies.
