Kog'Maw is not my character and belongs to Riot Games, maker of League of Legends, yadda yadda yadda. Anyway, here's his OFFICIAL lore.

When the prophet Malzahar was reborn in Icathia, he was led there by an ominous voice which thereafter anchored itself to his psyche. From within, this voice bestowed upon him terrible purpose, and though Malzahar was no longer tormented by its call, the voice did not cease its unrelenting summons. This baleful beacon's gentle flicker -- now fastened to Runeterra -- drew forth a putrid beast that ambled across a threshold it did not understand, widening a fissure between the spaces which were never meant to meet. There amongst the haunting ruins of Icathia, Kog'Maw manifested in Valoran with unsettling curiosity. The spark which led him to Runeterra teased him still, urging him gently towards Malzahar. It also encouraged him to familiarize himself with his new environment, to the stark horror of everything he encountered on his journey.

The enchanting colors and aromas of Runeterra intoxicated Kog'Maw, and he explored the fruits of the strange world the only way he knew how: by devouring them. At first he sampled only the wild flora and fauna he happened across. As he traversed the parched Tempest Flats, however, he came upon a tribe of nomads. Seemingly unhampered by conventional rules of physics, Kog'Maw consumed every nomad and any obstacles they put in his way, amounting to many times his own mass and volume. The most composed of his victims may have had time to wonder if this was due to the caustic enzymes which stung the ground as they dripped from his gaping mouth, although such musings were abruptly concluded. When his wake of catastrophe reached the Institute of War, an enthusiastic Malzahar greeted him with an enticing prospect: taste the best Runeterra could offer...on the Fields of Justice.


MY part: Kog'Maw was indeed from the void. He does indeed enjoy eating everything and everyone he comes across. What his profile fails to mention, is that Kog'Maw is not particularly mean. So when a new rift opened from the void that took him to Nexus, he was perfectly fine with leaving the people alive. Oh, he'd still eat them, and he would indeed digest them if they struggled... but some in Nexus actually WANTED to be devoured, and how could the creature say no to THAT? He even let them live. Usually. Sometimes.

Kog'Maw is just a creature that loves to eat. CONSTANTLY feeling starving. There are some in Nexus who have mistaken him for a demon of gluttony, in fact. But it's not his fault. It's his species. He still likes friends. Especially friends that can be his friend from within his rumbling gut.

Of course, if he needs to eat and they don't want him to eat, then he has "defensive" mechanisms... Kog'Maw can launch his own stomach acids out like a cannon at enemies, to devastating affects. Within his mouth is a long tube that serves as both a tongue and a throat, as well as a launcher of sorts when he needs to expel acids as a weapon.

Passives:

Icathian Surprise: At 1 HP, Kog'Maw's body erupts. If he is inside his opponent, they instantly lose 3 life. Kog does not lose any life if he is inside the opponent when this happens, as the pressure of their body holds him together. If not, then the eruption just explodes him outwards, killing him instantly.

Highly Acidic: Whenever someone begins to get digested in any way, they get a stack of Melting for every round they're being digested. Each stack permanently increases all damage the someone takes from Kog'Maw, including digestion: For example, they just got into Kog, they take 1 damage, get a stack. The next round, they take 2 damage, the next, they take 3, and so on and so forth.

Greatly Resistant: Kog'Maw takes a permanent -1 to all damage he'd receive from digesting in any way. So if he'd take 2 digestion damage, he'd only take 1.

Short Arms: Kog gets a -2 to grabbing the enemy. (This includes the initial roll to see who goes first, since it also has the winner grab the other.)

Eager: Kog gets a +2 to start eating his enemy.

Actives:

Acid Spit: Kog'Maw launches a small amount of acid at his opponent. Can only be used while both are outside. If he wins the roll, the opponent gains a stack of Melting. If he gets a natural 20, the opponent takes 1 damage.

Finisher:

Liquefy: If the opponent ever has 7 or more stacks of Melted, Kog'Maw can attempt to melt them into a living liquid and drink them up with no resistance. If he wins the roll, the opponent loses 9 life and gets a -5 to all rolls, and can only do blob vore. If he loses the roll, his opponent loses all stacks of Melted and Kog is stunned for 2 turns.
