mmh... sleepy... wait, what's...?

K-kya?! I... I have hands? And... wh-what're these round things...

Ooh, where am I, though...? It looks kinda... unsafe here... how'd I get...

W-wah! O-oh, it's... just my jaws... hehe, I still have those, at least... I was scared I'd become a human somehow... um... did they break this place? That pillar... looks like I took a bite out of it...

... humans... call this a "dress", I think... It's yellow, like I was, it must've been left here for me... oh, I guess that makes sense, if these are boobs...

... might as well finish off that pillar too, steel feels good in my belly...

... okay, dressed, nice and full, let's get me out of here and see about finding a town... and maybe some kind of accessory for my jaws... hehe, maybe a ribbon or a band... that'll look nice...

That was... pretty much the girl's thought process when she woke. Alone, in a chair with bitten-through straps, a room littered with rubble... Her memories of her time as a normal, if inquisitive, Mawile still remained. She'd been caught by a cocky young trainer, been with her for a few months... Someone must have taken the Pokemon from her, at some point, because she didn't remember being with anyone else... just a particularly long time in her Pokeball before that blank spot leading up to her waking up in that chair with a distinctly different appearance. Criminal organization, mad scientist, desperate attempt to save the trainer's life by merging her with her Pokemon (well, that certainly didn't work, if that was the reason), she has no idea! Not that it matters much to her; whoever changed her deserted her, she bit through a pillar and collapsed the place on accident, and now she's a gijinka! (For those of you not familiar with the term, think "demi-human Pokemon" and you're not far off.)

So, what's she like? Not too far off from how she was before. She still doesn't really "get" human mores, even if she tries to keep to them when people tell her about them (she pretty much is one now, after all, or so she regards herself). She's inquisitive, impish, playful... a bit of a sarcastic streak, but she -is- a Mawile. Her name, by the way, is one she gave herself; apparently, people in some far-off region call her species "Kucheat". But that's not a very cute name, so she tweaked it a little and changed the end to "ko" instead. Kuchiito also has a very strong love for pretty things, especially dresses and accessories. She was actually being taught about contests when she and her trainer got separated, though not much more than the basics, so catching people's eyes is very fun for her.

Of course, she does her best job of -that- in the summer. See, she's kept most of her Mawile characteristics. Her skin, while soft and practically flawless, is actually highly resilient to most sorts of attacks, and she's effectively immune to pretty much any sort of poison. However, steel-types have weaknesses too. A strong enough punch can bruise her pretty badly, even if her skin is hard even to cut, she's terrified of earthquakes... and she hates the heat. So when summertime rolls around... expect to find her in nothing but a light head wrap and the smallest bikini she can use that still covers her breasts. Oh, yeah, she draws a LOT of eyes in the summer, despite her somewhat small bust.

So... what with her being a Pokemon (sort of), any special abilities? Not -too- much, besides the aforementioned resilience. She's bilingual (human/Pokemon), but that's only to be expected after being taken in and taught; cute as a girl saying "Mawile" as if it had meaning is, it makes it hard to communicate when that's ALL she'll say! And she does seem to have somewhat of an empathy towards Steel-type Pokemon, and regular Mawile in general. But beyond that, not a whole lot else.

Oh, except she can eat and fully digest metal. She's not an allomancer or anything, but she very much enjoys it, particularly steel. Of course, her "normal" mouth can't do much special along those lines, it's her second maw that has the biting power to consume metal. It's also actually quite malleable, which helps when she's hiding it as hair... she could probably fit a person in there, if the idea ever was suggested to her. Maybe not -swallow- them, but if someone were in her jaws, they'd be there until she decided to let them out.

Speaking of those jaws, she actually does tend to keep them hidden when she remembers to, and grows very shy and mistrustful when someone finds out about them. Though she still can't understand why, a lot of humans seem freaked out about the idea of a big pair of jaws growing out of the back of her head... she doesn't get it, though. She's a Mawile, it's natural for her! Even so, she's even had a few rocks thrown at her over it... so expect her to be very skittish if you see that she has them, and for her not to trust your intentions for a while... get her to trust you, though, and you'll find her -quite- snuggly... just ask the Mawile in that picture above~

She never did meet back up with her Trainer, by the way. She's not especially looking, and doesn't expect her to be (she was being raised for Contests and general cuteness, not for battle, as she didn't fit too well into his team's strategy). Still, if she does somehow meet, and the Trainer manages to recognize his former Pokemon, she'll certainly be tickled pink~

Movelist
(As a gijinka, Kuchiiko gets more moves than the usual four, as they are generally accepted to be more powerful than their standard Pokemon counterparts.)

Ability: Sheer Force
This special power from the land of dreams removes all added effects like flinching, burns, and so on, and in exchanges boosts their power by 30%.

Iron Head (Steel/Physical)
A high-speed ramming attack taking advantage of Kuchi's high resilience and dense bones. One of the few attacks not using her maw. Power 80 (156 with Sheer Force and same type bonus), accuracy 100.

Stockpile (Normal/Status)
Yes, you all know about this one... and yes, it comes paired with Spit Up and Swallow... Energy is gathered from the surrounding environment into her maw, manifesting as a glowing ball in those jaws that can be spat out for heavy damage or swallowed to recover health. This is -energy-, however, it does not mean she swallows her opponent!

Fire Fang (Fire/Physical)
A heavy-duty elemental attack with her chompers in the back. This move ordinarily can flinch or burn, but Sheer Force removes those effects so she can chomp all the harder! Power 65 (85 with Sheer Force), accuracy 95.

Fake Tears (Dark/Status)
Aww, poor cute Kuchiiko... This move uses her adorable nature to the maximum, pretending to cry. The show of distress melts the hearts of those around her... and makes them twice as succeptable to Special-type attacks!

Iron Defense (Steel/Status)
That resilient skin isn't just for show! This move allows Kuchi to double her defenses against physical attack. She doesn't like using it much though, since it also turns her skin a rather metallic grey for a while...

Ice Punch (Ice/Physical)
Her least-used move, a holdover move she was tutored while still with her Trainer. A dazzling attack that calls icy power to her gloved hand, dealing strong damage to the enemy on contact. Power 75 (98 with Sheer Force), accuracy 100.
